It's been 14 years since Pepsi redesigned its logo. The swanky new logo is set to roll out in North America just in time for the brand’s 125th anniversary, and globally by 2024!
The updated Pepsi logo has some engaging elements!
1️⃣ Identity:
The electric blue and black bring a strong contrast, vibrant feel, and a stylish edge to the classic Pepsi color scheme of red, blue, and white. The type form is now a bold, upper-case sans serif in the logo's middle. The rebranded logo is similar to the 1990s version, which has stuck with the people.
2️⃣ Branding:
The 'globe' design has been transformed to ‘O’ (Zero), highlighted in black, sealing Pepsi’s commitment to Zero Sugar future as it pledges 57% less sugar in the standard Pepsi while maintaining the great taste.
3️⃣ Experience:
The signature Pepsi pulse emanating from the logo evokes the "ripple, pop, and fizz" of Pepsi-Cola, bringing rhythm and energy as the company steers towards digital animations, which will play a big part in its digital advertising campaigns in the coming decade.
