A lot of people only start thinking about a backup plan when retrenchment is already around the corner.

It's true. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex, overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, then starting on the first one.

Focus on commitment, not motivation.

Just how committed are you to your goal?

How important is it for you, and what are you willing to sacrifice in order to achieve it?

If you find yourself fully committed, motivation will follow.

Get rid of stagnating thoughts.

Thoughts influence feelings and feelings determine how you view your work.

You have a lot of thoughts in your head, and you always have a choice of which ones to focus on: the ones that will make you emotionally stuck (fears, doubts) or the ones that will move you forward (excitement, experimenting, trying new things, stepping out of your comfort zone).

Do think ahead, as life is long journey … always be prepared.

What’s the big news these 2 days?

Retrenchment.
Restructuring.
Layoffs everywhere.

And honestly, it’s scary.

Many people used to think:
“As long as I work hard and stay loyal, my job will always be secure.”

But today’s reality is different.
Even big companies are cutting costs.
Even hardworking employees can suddenly be affected.

That’s why more people are starting to think ahead instead of depending on only one source of income.

As a working mum myself, this is something I think about often.
The rising costs, children’s expenses, ageing parents… life doesn’t get cheaper.

And that’s also why I started building a side digital business using pockets of my time.
Not because I want luxury.
But because I want options, flexibility, and peace of mind for my family.

The truth is:
Having multiple streams of income is no longer a luxury.
It’s becoming a necessity.

Someone asking me this common question… 🤔

Does investing in a business guarantee success?

My answer is… No. 😊

But have you ever noticed something?

The opportunities with the biggest potential payoff rarely come with a 100% guarantee.

If you invest in the stock market… is it guaranteed to keep going up forever?

If you’re accepted into Harvard… does that guarantee you’ll land your dream job?

Of course not.

What it does is increase your chances, but the outcome still depends on what you do with the opportunity.

So why do millions of people still invest in stocks, pursue prestigious universities, or start businesses? 🤔

Because they believe the potential reward is worth the calculated risk.

I’ve realized there are usually two types of people.

The first waits until everything is guaranteed before taking action.

The second decides to become the guarantee.

They commit to learning.
They commit to growing.
They commit to showing up consistently, even when results aren’t immediate.

Which person do you think creates success faster? 🤔

The truth is… nothing in life is ever 100% guaranteed. ❤️

If you keep waiting for certainty before you start, what if that perfect moment never comes?

Maybe the real question isn’t…

“Is this guaranteed to work?”

Maybe the better question is…

Another payout notification… while I was on my way to work. 💰

There was a time when my monthly salary was my only source of income. Every bill, every family expense, every financial goal depended on that one paycheck. 😌

Today, I’m incredibly grateful that my online business continues to generate payouts, even while I’m commuting to my 9-5 job. ❤️

No, I didn’t have to stop working.
No, I wasn’t sitting in front of my laptop all morning.
The system was simply doing what it was built to do.

I’m sharing it because I know there are many hardworking moms who feel like they’re working so hard, yet still worry if one income is enough. 💕

I had the chance to catch up with my coach… who is also my mentor and a dear friend. ☕💕

Sometimes, life gets busy.
But every conversation with the right person reminds you why you started, helps you see things from a different perspective, and gives you the clarity to keep moving forward.

I’ve learned that when life feels uncertain or you’re searching for direction, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Sometimes, all you need is someone who has walked the path before you… someone who believes in you even when you doubt yourself… someone who shines a light when everything feels a little blurry.
