The Economic Leaders' Week is underway in San Francisco. Miro Lu had an insightful chat with Dr. Rebecca Sta Maria from the APEC Secretariat in Singapore. She shed light on the crucial role APEC plays in bringing economies together on big initiatives as well as in providing a platform for open and candid conversations without the constraints of binding agreements.

For a long time, Asian stories were told by people who didn’t understand the culture and its nuances. Leading to stereotypes, and cliches, often relegating Asian characters to mere punchlines. But the tides are changing. And it is not only being powered by the actors on screen, but also the creatives behind the scenes.

Miro Lu catches up with writer-producer-director Adele Lim, who has been both a witness and a driver of this change.

One of the most well known Chinese artists Wu Guanzhong undertook countless journeys for his personal and artistic ventures. Taking a unique look at his travels, the National Gallery Singapore showcased several works from the collection donated by the artist.

Aptly named Travelling with the Master, this is the sixth edition of the Wu Guanzhong Exhibition Series, which was launched in 2015. But unlike past exhibitions, which were developed by museum curators, this one has been co-created by four volunteer docents - a first for the National Gallery.
