A healthy choice for you and me! 💪🏻 is located at Lintas! They focus mainly on crafting healthy and delicious food for you 😍 not many places serves delicious poke bowls and rice bowls at kk but this place will always be one of admin’s favorite whenever i wanna go for something healthy and affordable! 👀

This time around we saw this new minidon in the menu, shrimp lover would love this bowl of fresh peeled shrimp 😍 it’s paired with tomyam sauce! The spiciness brings extra flavor to the whole combo!

Also this new Grilled Chicken Thai Sauce, it’s a combination of juicy grilled chicken with the sauce that’s sour and super fragrant flavors and a tint of spiciness! 😍

And we also ordered this nori, forgot what’s the name but inside they have salmon and it’s paired with rice with drizzled of soy sauce over it! They also added in some dragon fruits to bring out a refreshing and sweetness flavors in it! ✨

Hidden gem located at Bundusan Commercial 💎 is one of the most recommended cafe by locals! 😍 they’re famous for their delicious and soft pau! They have different variations of pau you can choose, there’s pork, chicken, vegetables, peanut, red beans and so much more! Other than pau, they have dim sum too 🤩 Let us show you what we ordered! 😜

Admin’s personal favorite is their grilled chicken mantou 😍 juicy grilled chicken with vege + soft and fluffy mantou is a good combo! 🤤

We also got to try the og combo, curry + mantou! 👀 their curry is really thick in flavor, there are potatoes and chickens in the curry too! 🫶🏻 we also ordered one vegetable pao, fillings are different kinds of vegetables 🥬

If you’re planning for a visit, do prepare yourself cause it’s always full house 😂 admin went there that time, only left 1 table 🥲

We found the best Portuguese tarts at KK 😍 it’s from Little Dozo! Yes, it’s a kiosk by located inside City Mall 😲 Although it’s from Dozo but their menu is different! Especially they have Portuguese tarts here! 🤤

Let admin introduced you guys their beverages first 😍 from left to right:
1. Kopi 3 Sekawan: it’s a mixture of coffee, milk & Gula Apong from Sarawak! It has a hint of palm fragrant taste from the gula apong, it’s one of admin’s favorite 👀
2. Kopi Coconut: it’s a mixture of coffee with santan 🥥
3. Golden Kopi: this is their signature, gao gao kopi suitable for coffee addicts 😍
4. Kopi Pandan: this is an interesting combination of coffee and Pandan 🤔 looking for something funky to drink? This is your go-to 🤪
5. Teh Tarik: We all know very well Dozo serves the best teh tarik 😏 the fluffy airy teh tarik pairs well with any pastries 🤤
6. Teh 3 Sekawan: it’s the same series but this one is Teh 👀 mixture of Teh + Milk + Gula Apong!
7. Pop Teh Ice Limau: if you’re looking for something refreshing, this is your best choice! 🍋‍🟩 ps: this is their signature too 😉

Little Dozo also serves one of the best Portuguese tarts admin has ever tried! The skin is super flaky and crispy 🤤 flaky tarts paired with any of their drinks are the best combo ever for high tea 👌🏻

KK finally has a place for you to try out mostly Japan desserts that you saw in those reels 😂 you can find these amazing desserts at located at Padimas Point 👀 today is their first day of soft opening and we went there to try out most of their desserts!

Here’s what we liked! Matcha Terrine, was soft and creamy, the matcha is so rich in flavor! I personally love their Mochi Ice Cream! They have different level of matcha ice cream! From level 5 (bitter) to level 1 (milky) we opt for 3 the mid one! It’s super good! If you love matcha go for level 5 😏

Other desserts are scrumptious too! Their matcha latte and hojicha latte are not bad, especially hojicha latte, we love it!

This place is definitely worth a visit even if you’re not a matcha fan, the interior was super cozy and feels like we’re at Japanese tea house 😂

THE NINES located at Inanam Capital! A new modern kopitiam just opened! They serves traditional Malaysian delights but presented in a modern way! They’re famous for their Portuguese tarts! Other than cakes and pastries, we also heard good things about their kopi 👀

Today we’re bringing you guys to this hidden gem located at Putatan! 😍It is Chef Big-Dan Stall 🫶🏻 You need Waze to get here, it’s hidden inside Putatan housing area! 😗

They are famous for their juicy burgers! 🤤 We opt for one Big-D Burger Single Lamb Patty & Big-D Double Cheese Double Beef Patty, it comes with this special hand-graded potato fries! 😋 Besides the burgers, we heard good things about their Nachos too, sadly we only have 2 stomachs and the burger portion is more than enough! 😂

I personally love the lamb patty more, it’s well-seasoned and the meat is so juicy! 🤩As for beef it’s tougher plus we opt for a double patty, it’s so thicccc couldn’t possibly fit in a bite! 😆extra point to their caramelized onion, add extra flavors to it!

A Russian & Azerbaijani Cafe hidden at the heart of KK city Bay21 Condo, Medovik Coffee House it’s on the 8th floor ✨ from the main door of the building walk to the left side, there’s only one lift that accesses that floor 👀

It’s a cozy cafe with a beautiful sea view 😍 The ambiance was chill and peaceful, the perfect place for you to chill to have your own me time 😌

We ordered some of their signature savory snacks: Blinchiki Russian Stuff Pancakes with add-on sour cream, Lamb Kutab with Greek Yogurt sauce, Sirniki with Raspberry Jam 🤩
also not to forget their famous honey layered cake, this one is Biscoff flavor! 🤭

For drinks, we opt for their Iced Bellagio Sipping Chocolate & White Russian Iced Mocha with ice cream on top!

Everything is good but we personally love their Blinchiki Russian Stuff Pancakes, especially with the cabbage fillings in it! 🫶🏻

Experience Jin Omakase with 6 types of specially crafted Donburi (lunch sets), each accompanied by an appetizer and dessert! 🤩✨

We tried their Engawa Donburi. Engawa is a flatfish that resides on the ocean floor 🐟 It refers to the thin muscle strip running along its fin. The chef torched it to bring out the fish's buttery texture 🔥😋 With each bite, the oil-rich Engawa melts in your mouth 🤤 It's simply the best combination with Ikura (salmon caviar) ✨

Appetizer: Nanban Tsuke - deep-fried and paired with special fermented sauce
Dessert: Yuzu Sorbet - sprinkled with cashew nuts on the side for added mouthfeel! Super refreshing! 🍧🍋
Side dishes: Chawanmushi, Miso Soup - Their premium seaweed in the miso soup is very elastic and chewy! 💯

Foo Phing is one of the oldest dim sum place in KK. If you're talking about classics, this place is a legend! ✨ It's been dishing out irresistible dim sum since forever and guess what? It's the one and only spot in town! 😲

This place is located at Hilltop along Jalan Lintas and you can also order via Food Panda. Their 'shau mai king' and 'har gao' are show stoppers no doubt but they also have other great dishes like 'salad prawn', 'chu cheong fun' and 'chicken feet'. 🤩

Foo Phing is best enjoyed with family and friends so gather your loved ones and work up an appetite. 😋 Just a reminder that their daily goods run out in almost no time so you might need to stop snoozing your alarm and wake up earlier for the feast! ⏰

Mitoya Gelato & Tea House is now opened at JQ Central, they’re located inside .my 😍

Fun fact: Unlike the usual Italian gelato flavors, their gelato is also inspired by Japanese style - a very unique blend! ✨ We got to try all flavors before picking the one, and most of their flavors taste goooood, we’re in dilemma cause we wanted to get like 4 flavors 😂 So in the end, we picked Beri Beri and Matcha Sesame! I personally love Matcha Sesame, strong matcha flavour with a hint of roasted sesame 🤤 If you like waffle cones do get an upgrade, they made it freshly everyday!

Other than gelato, they also serve other desserts and pastries! 🥐 We got to try their Blocks & Tea Set, it was so mesmerizing to see them prepare it (head on to TikTok to watch) The matcha blocks are so so so flavorful, it hits you strong! Matcha lovers would love this 🤪

📣 Calling out all bingsu lovers, here's another new cafe to check out! 🤩 It's located at JQ Central, 1st Floor - Nana Dessert Shop! 🍧

They are famous for their Korean-style bingsu, especially their signature flavors, Injeolmi Bingsu ✨ & Matcha Injeolmi Bingsu! 💚 We tried their Injeolmi Bingsu and their newly-launched flavor, Watermelon Bingsu! 🍉 - absolutely loved this one! 😍 Tasted like ATAS watermelon popsicle hehe 😋 FYI, their bingsu is so fine that it melts instantly once you take a bite! ❄️

Apart from bingsu, they also serve main dishes such as pasta, bagels, salad, and much more! 🍽️ They also offer snacks like toast, croffles, cakes, and other pastries. 🍰 You can check out their menu by visiting the link in their bio!

Cafe Hoppers, have you discovered Whitebird Cafe yet? 👀 It's one of the top-rated aesthetic cafes in KK! 😍 They're located above The Hyphen cafe at damai. To get here, enter The Hyphen, turn right, and you'll see a staircase leading ⬆️ to Whitebird. 🕊️

The setting here is very calm with neutral color blends. ✨ They also offer a workspace with switches and lights for you to work comfortably. 💻 Fun fact: their desserts and pastries menu will be changed monthly. Feel free to ask their staffs for recommendations if you're unsure what to order! 🤭

ANNYEONGHASEYO foodies! Today, we're introducing SPACE Cafe, located at Taman Soon Kiong shoplot. They operate from 10am - 9pm every day except on Mondays. 👉 (p/s: TIDAK HALAL) 👈

They specialize in Korean cuisine served in a minimalistic outer space-themed setting. 🌌 What caught our attention was their huge starry moon backdrop on the wall! 🌕😍 It's so realistic that it felt like we were moon-dining. 🌚🤭 It was quite a memorable experience~ ✨

Food was good especially their sizzling beef / kimchi pork - you can actually taste the heavenly wok hei in every bite! 🤤♨️ Their drink recipes are also in-house crafted and customized from scratch to create a unique taste experience!

Besides à la carte menu they also serve a buffet at night with two package options: Economy package at RM43 and Premium package at RM68, both offering unlimited refills. 😱 They also have special pricing for kids and senior citizens, and the best part? Toddlers below 6 years old get to DINE FOR FREE! 🤩🚀✨

Weather too hot? 🌞 No problem, just drop by Ice Baba Malaysia at Pristana Industrial Park, Inanam. No need to wait for the long weekends and drive all the way to KK area just to eat shaved ice! 🙌🏼 People who work around that area, you're in luck~ 🤭

It's so easy to recognize them, their unicorn mascot in their logo is just too cute to be forgotten! 🦄 Besides their signature shaved ice desserts, they also serve mains like nasi lemak, spaghetti and snacks too! Our top pick would be their avocado shaved ice 🥑 and their nasi lemak kari ayam! (Their sambal is very addicting btw.. 😋)

What got our attention is their special ice jelly beverages aka 冰粉! 😍 It's made of jello paired with colorful multi toppings! Check them out! 🤩 They're available from 9am to 11pm daily.

A brand new cafe has just set up shop in Wong Kwok Commercial Centre, and it's called Ink Cafe! ✨ It boasts a cozy industrial theme and a laid-back atmosphere.

Ink Cafe serves classic breakfast and Asian cuisine. Their signature dish is 'Ink's Special Sauce Chicken Rice', featuring a yogurt-based sauce with a subtle hint of mint. 🍀 If you're a fan of that refreshing, minty-sour flavor, you should definitely give it a try. Besides that, they also offer Teriyaki Chicken Rice, 🐔 Curry Lamb Rice, 🐐 and Pineapple Fried Rice.🍍

FYI, their cakes and desserts are all crafted with love 🫶🏼 by Eggs & Sugar. We tried their French Vanilla Burnt Cheesecake, and the texture was super silky with a rich cheesy taste! 🧀 They also have a Matcha Affogato made with Niko Neko matcha. 🍨🍵 Matcha lovers and Niko Neko fans? 💚 Check them out!🙌🏼

As Sabahans, Borenos is one of our favourite go-to spots for fried chicken. 🍗 Yes, its no longer KFC! 🫣 Although there is an ongoing debate on which fried chicken is better, one thing's for sure – Borenos has carved its own special place in our hearts. 🥰

Derived from the words “Borneo” and “S” from “Sabah”, Borenos is our first local fast food restaurant in Sabah. 🌴 Besides fried chicken, they also serve other mandatory fast food delights like burger, nuggets, soft drinks and different variations of fries. 🍟

There are currently 3 different Borenos outlets across Sabah, with plans to expand even further! Till then, Borenos remains a humble culinary cornerstone for us Sabahan's.
