Had the qu**ky bowl for $7! Besides the acai sorbet, there were bananas, strawberries, blueberries, pitaya, gronola and superfoods.
I chose pistachio sauce which went really well with the rest of the ingredients.

Super healthy and delicious but I felt that the portion can be bigger for $7!

Strawberry Bagel with Smoked Salmon (Lox) from Two Men Bagel 🥯

Went to their outlet at Holland Village because I was craving for some bagels!

The bagel had a generous amount of smoked salmon - though I was okay to do with less and have an equal ratio of bagel to salmon. They also gave a lot of scallion and dill cream - though it can get jelat after awhile. Enjoyed the strawberry bagel. It was a nice twist to the plain bagel! Overall the portions were really generous, so it’s better for 2 people to share 1 bagel, also given that it was quite pricey ($18++)

Overall: 6.5/10

📍Xiang’s Signature Hainan Cuisine Review

Honestly I don’t usually go for Chinese Cuisine because of the spiciness and oiliness, but I think this place is worth a try!

Items I tried:

- Beef with Special Chilli: Beef was so tender and very easy to chew. The chilli went really well with the beef too. This was good for those who love spicy, but as someone who can’t take much spice, a few spoons was manageable for me.

- Hunan Style Stir-Fried Pork: Soft & tender pork slices, completed by the slightly spicy and crunchy green chillies.

- Sour & Spicy Potatoes: Loved this so much! The potatoes was chopped up into thin sticks, and they had a light crunch and a hint of spiciness.

Lu rou fan & fried chicken from Mun Ting Xiang 📍

I’m not expert in Taiwanese food but I can say that the lu rou fan (braised pork rice) is decently good for its price! I got the set meal at $9.90, which includes the lu rou fan, fried chicken as the side and iced red tea.

The braised pork is soft and chewy. The black sauce it is covered in gives it a good flavour! The braised tofu and egg complemented the pork well too.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the fried chicken. It wasn’t undercooked like some fried chicken which I have eaten before! It has a good amount of flour layered over the chicken.

Choco Banana Marshmallow Crepe from iCrepe 📍

Wanted to have a dessert after a difficult yoga class, so I decided to try out a crepe from this shop I passed by!

Honestly, it was average because they could have used more nutella. The amount of bananas was good though. I also preferred bigger marshmallows than the small ones.

Might try out the other flavours next time for a better review!

Newyear noodles and Nutty Banana Bread with Strawberry Balsamic Ice Cream from .noodles 🥰

Look at how colourful the bowls of noodles are! I loved the taste ingredients because they were fresh & light. The dish overall felt very ‘homey’ and super delicious 🤤

I also enjoyed the banana bread, which had generous amount of nuts, and the Strawberry Balsamic Ice Cream which complemented the Banana Bread well with a hint of sweet and sourness.
