Scam Alert!!

There is an ongoing scam involving emails sent with a forged Singapore Police Force letterhead, impersonating official correspondence.

Several indicators suggest the email is fraudulent:
- The sender’s email address is not from an official SPF domain and appears to use UniCamp
- The reply-to address redirects to an Outlook account
- The signature stamp belongs to the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, not SPF
- The writing style attempts to use Singlish, which is inconsistent with formal SPF communications

These discrepancies strongly indicate impersonation. Please remain vigilant online.

ScamAlert!!

Have you seen advertisements on your Facebook feed offering a free watch? Take a moment to look more closely and ask yourself: why would a page give away a watch for free?

These advertisements often include a form that asks for your personal information. What many people don’t realize is that this information can later be misused for scams or other malicious activities.

Always be cautious when you are asked to share personal details online. Before providing any information, take the time to verify whether the company is legitimate. When in doubt, it’s safer not to share anything at all.

Scam Alert!!

Be alert to fake investment groups on Telegram or Whatsapp messaging platform. Scammers may impersonate trusted platforms such as “StashAway,” promising unrealistically high returns like turning $1,000 into $20,000 within hours. These are traps designed to steal your money. They often demand huge “admin fees” or “taxes” before allowing withdrawals, which you’ll never get back. Always verify with official sources and never send money to strangers online. If it sounds too good to be true, it’s a scam. Stay smart, stay safe.

Scam Alert!!

If you receive a message claiming that your WhatsApp account has not been verified for a long time and asking you to log in or complete verification, ignore it immediately, it’s a phishing scam. The URL in the message is usually a redirect to a fake website designed to steal your account details, and scammers often spoof the name “WhatsApp” to make it look legitimate. Always check the URL carefully and only trust links that end with whatsapp.com. Never click on links claiming your account needs verification, reactivation, or security updates, and block and report any suspicious messages. For extra protection, enable two-step verification in WhatsApp, and remember that WhatsApp will never ask you to verify your account through a link sent via SMS or chat.
