People Dem Collective is raising funds to support the development of a new national cultural centre in Margate that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the town, & the diversity of the thousands of visitors who come to the beach & experience the thriving arts scene. The aim is for the cultural centre to be housed in a building on the Margate seafront.
We need to get together a bad boy development team to realise this, dig deep in ya pockets and behind the sofa for those pennies. This destination will benefit us all. Lets not get left behind.

"Lewis Carroll - Through the Looking Glass".
Mischievous Theatre CIC is in the process of creating a new and exciting production based on the life of Lewis Carroll ... creator of Alice of course but he was also an astute, exacting and professional man of business, an avid theatre goer, a pamphleteer, a dedicated family man, a well respected mathematician, a Don at Oxford, an ordained CofE deacon, an inventor and a portrait photographer.

We are about to put in an application to the Arts Council England to create a new play by which will be touring from September 2020 and will tour extensively from January 2021.
So watch this space.

Groliffe the Ice Dragon learns "looking" ... tricky for Kevin James to see where the eyes are actually looking ... but with the help of the lovely and brilliant Roman Stefanski, all is well ... Groliffe now looks at the audience rather than aloofly into the Gods!

Gone fishin' ...

"The Sagas of Noggin the Nog" returns! We are taking Noggin up to Edinburgh this August, we will be performing at assembly, George Square … have a peek at their website. We are in association with Theatre Royal Margate and will be previewing the show, in Margate, on the 11th July, have a peek at TRMs website for more information. Why are you doing this extraordinarily expensive thing? I hear you ask. We had such a brilliant response to the show last year from audience members, reviewers and the venues themselves, that we felt Noggin deserved another outing and to build a really strong tour we have decided that the Edinburgh Festival was the best place to be. Here is a promotional video which you can have a peek at.
