Hi there!
A message from Jens Lodén....
Finally my new album "They Say" is finished.
Official release on all streaming-platforms on May 18.
It's a rather eclectic trip-hop-jazz kind of thing with collaborations between me and a bunch of wonderful musicians and singers, such as Lina Nyberg (vocals), Per "Texas" Johansson (clarinet, bass-clarinet), Svante Lodén (vocals), Noah Hoffeld (cello), Sofi Hellborg (soprano saxophone), Jenny K Lundgren (poetry).
In anticipation of the full album, here's a little pre-release, only on Soundcloud, of Oh what a wonderful world... from the album. Vocals and lyrics on this one by Ivar Lodén Håkansson, tenor saxophone solo by Fredrik Ljungqvist, piano Landaeus and drums by Håkon Garpestad.
The album was recorded during the years 2021 through 2023 in Lund, Höör, Stockholm and the cello at Noah's place north of New York.
Produced, mixed and mastered by me.
