Johan Nohr is a Swedish visual artist and graphic designer probably best known for his vibrant work in the tabletop roleplaying game scene. The ink-dripping brick of a coffee table art book Art by Nohr is now available in the Free League webshop and collects some of his finest pieces from between 2006 and 2023: from the blood-drenched neon demons of MÖRK BORG, CY_BORG and various zines to illustrations from unreleased game modules, abandoned projects and quick doodles. A lot of the artwork is annotated with thoughts and comments, as well as in-progress sketches, scrapped versions and more. A peek into the workshop, if you will.

Dragonbane: The Sinking Tower Tournament at UK Games Expo 2024

The sea wind howls, and the smell of seaweed and decay stings your noses. You pull your cloaks tighter around you as the rowboat cuts through the restless sea towards your destination. Then the fog clears to reveal the sinking tower rising from the water. This is the moment you have all been waiting for, the day when the enchanted stone tower said to have been built by a mad mage rises from the sea once more.

The Sinking Tower is a tournament adventure and offers difficult challenges for even the most seasoned adventurers. Players will need to work together to solve puzzles, win battles, and find valuable treasures – all in just two hours! Players will score points from how well they handle the mysteries of the tower, and in the end a winning team will be announced.

We are incredibly excited to announce that a Kickstarter for Replicant Rebellion, a mammoth expansion for our award-winning Blade Runner: The Roleplaying Game, is launching on May 28, 2024!

Replicant Rebellion massively expands the scope of our critically acclaimed tabletop RPG, recruiting all you players to join the ranks of the Replicant Underground in Los Angeles 2037.

Set at the same time and place as the Core Rulebook, you will explore this neon-noir cityscape from the opposite perspective – now running from Blade Runners in an evocative cat & mouse race of provocateurs and powder kegs lit to explode, expose, and oppose the establishment, one way or another.

The Kickstarter will be launched on May 28th at 6:00 am US Pacific Time (9 am US Eastern, 3 pm Central European). Backers and retailers alike eager to enlist should visit the Kickstarter pre-launch page and sign up to be notified the moment the campaign goes live.

If successfully funded, all backers will get the PDF version of Replicant Rebellion months ahead of the official release. All backers who pledge levels with physical rewards within the first 24 hours will receive a bonus item to be revealed soon.

Path of Glory was the first major adventure campaign released for the original Swedish edition of the Dragonbane RPG (Drakar och Demoner), in three installments during 1985 and 1986: The Dead Forest, Gates of Power, and Heart of Darkness. This new edition, reimagined and updated by Free League and the original author Roger Undhagen, collects the trilogy in a single volume.

This full-color, hardback edition has been given completely new illustrations by David Brasgalla and new cover art by Johan Egerkrans. The rules are fully updated to the latest edition of Dragonbane and the book includes a large, double-sided map in format 432x558mm painted by Francesca Baerald.

Path of Glory is available in a Standard and a Collector's Edition with faux leather cover with gold foil printing. The pre-order gives early access to the complete PDF of the book in June, months ahead of the retail release planned for the fall.
