Swedish retrowave artist NeverMann is currently working on his third album, but took a break from that to record a cover of "It Started With A Love Affair", written by Norell-Oson-Bard and a originally a huge hit in Sweden for veteran Jerry Williams in 1989. The NeverMann rendition makes the third single from the fortcoming tribute album "Night City Tribute Vol.2 - In Memory of Tim Norell" album.

NeverMann is a swedish artist from Halmstad who has been making retrowave since 2017. Together with his writing and producing partners OSC (from Brighton) and Rickard Bonde Truumeel (from Helsingborg) he has released two albums “GentleMann” and “True Mann” on the prolific label TimeSlave Recordings. He’s been a P4 Nästa Halland finalist four times.
Besides his own releases, he has also collaborated with some of the most talented international Synthwave acts, like Turbo Knight, Dana Jean Phoenix, Jay Diggs, Dimi Kaye, YORU 夜 along others etc.
Last autumn he also performed at the festival alongside 80s artists Den Harrow, Linda Jo Rizzo and Paul Rein, and current italo/synthpop artists Tobias Bernstrup "Official", SCALA, Carino Cat and 1984.
Octolab is back! The first track from the forthcoming EP is called "Silence Of The City" and will be released as a digital single and video on July 19th.

Once upon a time, there were two Swedish pop bands, both operating within the widely appreciated but often derided subgenre known as synthpop. For a while, the two bands had been casting curious glances at each other, glances filled with great respect for each other's creations and ambitions. During the very first tremulous days of 2024, the mutual desire became too strong to suppress any longer. The two bands gave in to their creative urge, and the passionate meeting in the creative stronghold of Lerum, which would be followed by more, bore fruit. Today, on July 19, 2024, we celebrate the complete birth of the two bands' joint creation. The sophisticated appetizers of spring and early summer left the audience with a sense of delight and a craving for more, and now that we have finally been graced with the entirety, the so-called "EP," we can do nothing but surrender.
