Björn Petersson Kvartetts second album FÖRLUST & RÄDSLA (LOSS & FEAR) is a melancholic pondering folkjazz-record. The lyrics are inspired by reality and touches in a naked and honest way by the thoughts and feelings that can occur after a loss or at the fear of one. The music strives after the simple, suppressed, clear and slow with inspiration from the genres folk songs, jazz and hymns. The melodies is covered with a nostalgic shimmer which stays with the listener.

🟠 Album of the week 🟠 Malin Wättring 4 with Bohuslän Big Band - Harvest 🌱

Malin, Composer of the year at P2’s Jazzkatten�gala 2017, was in 2016 asked if she wanted to write a commission for Bohusläng Big Band.�Harvest is the result.
Malin brought her quartet - Malin Wättring 4 - in the project. The group consists of, apart from Malin herself on saxophone, Naoko Sakata on the piano,�Donovan von Martens on bass and
Anna Lund on drums.
Malin about the album:
”I’ve named this album Harvest, because I like to grow things. It’s a very similar experience creating music;�music needs love, light and time.”

Som ni säkert redan vet så har våra gamla vänner Anna Ahnlund musik och Daniel Ögren gjort total succé med sitt gemensamma band Dina ögon, vilket glädjer oss enormt! pawky is an experimental jazz/improvisation quintet where Alice Hernqvist and Aaron Mandelmann are artistic leaders and compose the bands music.
