Next week I will have reseracher Tim Hofmeester and communicator Susanna Bergström joining me to record an episode about scientific communication and citizen science! 🏡

Tomorrow there is a live seminar by Tim at Umeå were he will talk about the project "Träffa dina vilda grannar" (Meet your wild neighbors), a citizen science project in Umeå municipality using camera traps! 📸

Greetings from the Southern Summer! I am currently on a PhD course called "Global Perspectives on Adaptive Wildlife Management" in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The course is run by SLU and involves students and teachers from both the northern and southern hemispheres. It has been an amazing learning experience so far, as we have compared and contrasted different wildlife management strategies and spent time talking to researchers and managers alike here in Kruger. There will be an episode coming out in late March about the course in more detail. In the episode we will interview students and course organizers about their thoughts about the course.
Best,
Olli
