UE5's core rendering features have been improved.
As part of our ongoing effort to make it simpler for developers to use these features at higher quality in games running at 60 frames per second on next-generation consoles, we've continued to improve all core UE5 rendering features with this release. The enhancements also provide higher-quality results and improved performance for those who create linear content.

Because of the new Explicit Tangents option, Nanite performs better for masked materials like foliage and can represent a wider variety of surfaces, whereas Lumen with Hardware Ray Tracing has more capabilities, such as multiple reflection bounces, and performs better on consoles.

Virtual Shadow Maps (VSM), which is now production-ready, Temporal Super Resolution (TSR), Hair Grooms, Path Tracing, and Substrate are some areas that have seen significant developments.

For those of us who grew up in the 80's with you Tina Turner, you were an incredible person and a strong woman. You were a role model and an inspiration who gave us hope and faith for the future when we were sad and weak. You gave us strength, joy and love with your music.

Thank you Tina for all the music you have given us. You shaped our lives.
Your music was always present in one way or another in our lives. Every cassette tape we had with music in the 80s, always had at least three of your songs on it and was played directly or softly in the background.

Thanks for the notes and the beautiful music you gave us 70's Tina Turner!
