Anno 2024 has come to an end, and what a year it was! The furnaces in the Jawbreaker factory have been burning hot while the goblins have been working day and night at the forges to produce no less than 7 LPs, 6 CDs, a whooping 19 tapes, and our first two 7″ singles. And since Jawbreaker Records was founded in December 2014, this now means that the label has been active for 10 years! Wow, time flies!

So out of all these releases, which one was YOUR favorite?

A big thanks to all the bands, all our loyal customers, and to our amazing business partners who have supported us during the year. And of course to for all the outstandingly great designs! Together we keep the flame of underground metal alive, brothers and sisters. Now onwards into 2025, Jawbreakers, glory awaits!

Out today: Templar’s new 7″ vinyl Treacherous Beast, featuring 3 songs of pure Swedish Heavy Metal!

This release kicks off a new era for the band, featuring two brand-new tracks that have only been heard live until now: the blazing title track Treacherous Beast and the Swedish anthem I Natt. And, as a special treat, they’ve breathed new life into Ringwraith from their Black Knight EP, giving it the lineup’s new firepower.

Though the single may only feature three tracks, it’s a massive leap forward from their demo. The production is a clear step up, yet it still preserves that warm and authentic 80s underground sound that fans crave—perhaps not surprising given that it is Staffan Tengnér of Century fame who is responsible for the production. The stronger songwriting and upgraded sound make the songs feel alive, pulsing with energy. The title track, Treacherous Beast, is an absolute rager—fast, anthemic, and bursting with energy. The dual guitar attack, ripping speed, and 80s-infused glory will have you hooked instantly. Next up is Ringwraith, reborn with the band’s new lineup. This version is tighter, richer, and packs way more punch than the demo. Finally, the single closes with I Natt, a mid-tempo Swedish banger that’s equal parts Judas Priest and Heavy Load. This sing-along anthem has that perfect balance of melody and energy, making it easy to chant along, even if you don’t speak the language!
