In the face of adversity and accusations, Johnny Johnson made it clear, stating, “I’m not gay.” He stood strong even when people spoke badly about him for starting the Miss Wau Beauty and Talent Pageant.

He mentioned that despite encountering resistance and negative discourse from various people, he remained resilient and ignored them.

Johnny adds, “I lost it all when they went and told my father that I joined the gay life.” That’s when I said I can’t keep quiet anymore.

He continued, “I don’t really care much about what people say. My work speaks for itself, and the progress now, Miss Wau Beauty and Talent, is recognized internationally.”

The Mayor of Wau Municipal Council announced the burial of seven bodies that had been at Wau Teaching Hospital mortuary since last year, remaining unclaimed. Some passed away during treatment, while others were found deceased in markets. While Two bodies are pending burial pending medical reports.

Speaking to Wau Gossip, the mayor highlighted administrative challenges within Wau Hospital, emphasizing delays in burial reports impacting public health.

He urged the hospital to improve administrative processes. Since his appointment three years ago, the municipality has buried over 1,500 bodies.

The state Ministry of Health declined to comment on the matter.
