My wife, Aluel Messi has divorced me, former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Peter Mayen claims

Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Peter Mayen has claimed that his wife, Aluel Messi, has divorced him. Mayen made the announcement on his page, where he shared an emotional post.

"She divorced me last night, that is my Ex lovely wife (Aluel Messi), whom we all love her 'forever' with my son 'Mayen Jr, Majongdit'. Mayen Jr, is till on her neck asking her (Aluel), ''Why diverse my Father when he needs you most?'' is it's just for presidential candidatscy. No..No.. I am going Home with my father this week...I gree with my son....... God Bless South Sudan," Mayen post reads

According to Mayen, Aluel divorced him last night to the suprise of his son.

This is not the first time that Mayen and Aluel have been in the news for controversies. The former minister, over years has featured on news for all the wrong reasons with his wife. He was also recently fired from his position by President Salva Kiir. The reason for his dismissal has not been made public.

The Police in Juba on Tuesday morning paraded 44 suspected armed robbers including six foreigners and dozens of recovered motorbikes.

The individuals were arrested in the ongoing crackdown on gangs in the city.

Last week, the police arrested five suspects in different parts of the national capital.

President Kiir, Kenyan President, Djibouti President to travel to Sudan to reconcile conflicting groups and restore stability

In a bid to address the ongoing crisis and restore stability in Sudan, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) has put together a delegation consisting of three presidents. These leaders include, President Salva Kiir, Kenyan President William Ruto and President Guelleh from Djibouti.

Their primary objective is to facilitate dialogue between the conflicting groups and reconcile their differences. The delegation will utilize their influence and expertise to bring about a peaceful resolution to the crisis and restore stability to Sudan.

The decision to send this delegation highlights IGAD's commitment to resolving conflicts in the region and promoting peace and stability.
