Vois Blong Mere Solomon Empowering and linking women of the Solomon Islands through information sharing.

Vois Blong Mere Solomon (VBMS) was established in 2002 through the cooperation of other organisations in the Solomon Islands. VBMS is an autonomous non-government organisation so it can effectively represent Solomon Islands women. The purpose of VBMS is to link the women of the Solomon Islands through information sharing. We do this through our regular Mere radio Programme on SIBC, newsletters, pr

ojects and by coordinating collective integrated systems of information sharing among rural, provincial and national women's organisations in the Solomon Islands.

Today, we honor our young Pasifika climate activists, whose courage and passion illuminate the path forward for our people and our planet. 🌏🌺
These remarkable leaders show us that the fight for climate justice goes beyond policies and negotiations—it’s about survival, dignity, and safeguarding the sacred bond between our lands, oceans, and communities. In the face of rising seas, disappearing traditions, and global inaction, they are not just advocating for change—they are protecting our stories, our cultures, and our future. Their resilience inspires hope and demands action. Let’s uplift their voices, celebrate their courage, and join them in the fight for justice. Together, we protect our home. 🌊💙
