We are delighted to announce yet again another fine achievement by another Solomon Islander, on being .

Congratulations are in order to Mr. Crispin Tanentoa on being . Crispin is pursuing a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering at Brunel University London, UK.

In his own words, Mr Crispin celebrates his moment:

"🌍🎓 I'm incredibly honoured and grateful to have been awarded the Scholarship! This opportunity to study Energy Engineering in the UK is a dream come true, and it wouldn't have been possible without the support of so many amazing people.

"First and foremost, all glory and honour to our almighty God for the incredible blessings and the wonderful plan He has set for me. A heartfelt thank you to my wonderful family, and to the incredible Chevening alumni and current ones like Joseph Haga, William Kadi and Veronica Maebiru, who guided and encouraged me throughout the application process. Your belief in me has made all the difference.

Dylan Bush is a Fulbright Scholar alumnus who worked alongside Solomon Islander surgeons on Solomon Islands’ first national study on diabetic amputation in 2022 to 2023, and recently stopped by straight from the clinic to update U.S. Embassy - Honiara, Solomon Islands on his most recent work. Dylan once again returned to the Hapi Isles, but as a medical student continuing joint research projects with Solomon Islander counterparts.

Dylan, who first visited Solomon Islands in 2018 as a study abroad student, said “This place, its people, and its culture will always be a part of me. I look forward to continuing my work in Solomon Islands as I progress in my studies and my career.”

We thank Dylan for his people-to-people focused work in the Solomon Islands, hand in hand with local institutions and medical professionals, and look forward to more updates!
