Saudi Women in Film & Media سعوديات في الإعلام وصناعة الأفلام SWIFM is an organization that help connect Saudi women in film&media through a database to create more work opportunities as well as providing training.

SWIFM is an organization that was founded March 2015, by two Saudi female filmmakers: Amal AlJohani and Hanaa Saleh Alfassi while they were studying in Los Angeles. SWIFM has two main goals, The short term goal is to connect Saudi women and women residing in Saudi, working in film&media through a database, to create more work opportunities, assist and collaborate as SWIFM embraces a spirit of coll

aboration within its organization. The second is a long term goal. To create a highly professional training programs and workshops. Provide internships and contributes financially and creatively to the production which spotlight issues important to women, creates events and seminars which are educational and creatively enlightening. Our main focus is on women but we're working on building a database for both men and women in Saudi working in the filmmaking and Media fields.
