FROM THE DOUBT TO THE FULLEST REALITY OF EXPERIENCE:

Last Saturday, I embarked on a hike up Mount Kabuye in Gakenke, accompanied by two foreign visitors, one elderly and the other a gentleman. We persevered until we reached the summit, immersing ourselves in the beauty of Rwanda. The hike allowed us to experience rural life in the highlands of Gakenke District, and our guests were impressed by the Government of Rwanda's provision of social amenities even in such remote areas.

From the base of the Mount Kabuye hike, doubts may arise regarding what to expect and what's included in the experience. However, as you engage with the local community and take in the stunning landscapes of our beloved country, along with the excellent hotel services awaiting you at the summit, any reservations dissipate. After the arduous journey uphill, everyone is invariably left in awe, exclaiming, "This is truly amazing!"

They have built a school where 60 children are now receiving an education. All the necessary facilities and teachers' salaries are covered by the organization.

Nzabonimpa Theodore, the CEO and founder of Beyond the Gorillas Experience, summarized their mission by saying, "We don't aim for high profits; we prioritize changing the lives of communities." He also highlighted the organization's efforts to empower youth by showing them employment opportunities and teaching them how to utilize available resources for a brighter future.
