LANCOM Systems and Combridge are proud to announce the successful implementation of the WLAN/LAN infrastructure at the Profi Rom Food new 60.000 m2 warehouse facility in Șag, county Timiș.
The project recently was fully deployed by engineers from the two companies, who worked closely with Profi Rom Food Feed IT department.
The project includes 150 devices working in different areas of the warehouse, including the frozen part.
- 93x APs model LN-1700B for the ambient area (controlled temperature +5*C);
- 39x APs model OW-602 for the frozen area (these APs work at a temperature of -20*C);
- 2x WLC-1000 in cluster for redundancy;
- 15x ETH PoE GS-2326P+ switches distributed throughout the warehouse;
- 1x fiber optic switch model GS-2328F

I started working at Combridge about five years ago, but five years from now I still see myself working here.

Why? It’s simple: I feel good. I like my job. It’s challenging, but we have results.
The company always grew organically.

Five years ago I sent in my CV, I had an interview and I feel like I’ve been working here all my life.

One thing that everyone remembers about me is a funny story about when we went on a teambuilding.

The bus stopped in Brașov at a gas station to rest. While there, I got a sudden phone call from a client.

I was so concentrated, walking around, trying to solve the issue, that when I looked up, I just saw the bus leaving.

You know, the client always has to be the priority, so I continued the call.
I didn’t panic, because I knew one of my colleagues that had to leave a bit later was also on route by car and could pick me up.
I can imagine how shocked everyone was when they found out they had left me in the middle of nowhere, but these things happen, and it’s something we laugh about now.

Besides our boss's great jokes in the morning, we sometimes have fun playing darts during lunch breaks.

I usually play with someone, I beat them pretty badly and they go back straight to work.

Losing a game to me is the best motivation.

When applying for a job at Combridge, at first I wanted to be a project manager.

I sent in my CV, and the interview went quite well.

At the end, I got offered a job as a programmer, which I was very happy about.

I had just finished university, and it sounded like a great challenge.

They teach you a variety of things, but let me tell you, working here has taught me a lot more. It’s an ever changing workspace, where you need to rely on yourself, your colleagues and most importantly your problem solving abilities.

Robert Valentin Cosmescu is full of energy and joy. He is relatively new to the team but has a great time while working here:

I feel like from a human standpoint, Combridge is an excellent company.

For me, this is the most important thing. From the first moments I felt like this is the workplace for me.

Everyone was kind, helpful and understanding form the start. I knew I could count on each and every one of my colleagues.

This positive atmosphere is hard to put into words, but it is something that gives me energy that I can use in my day to day life, such as doing sports that I love.

I also love the surprises that come with the job, such as the funky teambuildings and events that are organised for us often.

Aurelian Florian Pindaru, who besides being good at his job, is also the one who gets called if someone's laptop is not working in the offices:

There were a lot of times, when colleagues called me to fix all kinds of issues with their system, but most of the time by the time people explain the issue to me, it sorts out by itself.

There was a joke going around, people were saying I am Harry Potter.

I didn’t even need to touch the computer and the problem solved itself thanks to my magical powers.

"We burst a champagne to celebrate, but being overexcited, we accidentally sprayed the walls with it!"

Talpoș Roberta is one of the key people in Combridge, who loves to look back to nice things that happened in the last 20 years:

One time, after closing a huge deal, we all gathered in the biggest office.

All the employees were there. We burst a champagne to celebrate, but being overexcited, we accidentally sprayed the walls with it!

We had to renovate the whole office afterwards, but the laughs and all the joy made up for it.

I always felt at home in the last 20 years, coming to work every day, and this is thanks to all the great people who work here.

On the 22nd of June we held our first physical event in a long time. We had the pleasure of sharing some new technology development of our WiFi solutions vendor, Lancom, from Rohde & Schwarz Group, for our valuable business partners.

After a short brief about the company from CEO Levente Csenteri , Negru Dorin our Presales Engineer took the stage to deliver the hands-on presentation to the participants.
