" A vision for better Future "
The First Annual Youth conference, a vision for better future, is a 3 days conference that will be hosted by Center for Governance and Public Policy in Qatar, which is part of Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies in affiliation with Qatar Foundation. Educating, guiding, motivating, and raising their awareness is a shared responsibility. The youth of any society present
a great potential for social, economics, and political change aand reform. Since youth are the key stakeholders in the future development of their nations, this initiative seeks to understand the ambitions, positions, and ideas of youth. In this regard, the Center is planning two activities:
1. A research contest on "Your Education in shaping the future of your society".
2. Hosting the participants of the contest in the First Annual Youth Conference in June 2011. In four bullet-points, the conference is trying to achieve the following objectives:
1.To motivate youth to articulate their visions of the future.
2.To encourage youth to express their aspirations using scholarship and to understand and draw on the contributions of others.
3.To develop a cadre of motivated youth for future projects and initiatives.
4.To encourage youth to make linkages between their formal education and training and the needs of their communities. more info: www.qfis.edu.qa

يستضيف مركز الحكم الراشد والسياسات العامة والذي يعتبر جزء من كلية الدراسات الإسلامية في قطر مؤتمر الشباب السنوي الأول - رؤية وفكر لمستقبل أفضل - والذي سيعقد لمدة 3 أيام. يؤمن مركز الحكم الراشد بإن الاستثمار في الشباب وقدراتهم بطريقة استراتيجيية يجلب النفع والرخاء للأوطان. كما وأن تعليم الشباب وإرشادهم وتشجيعهم ورفع مستوى إدراكهم مسؤولية مشتركة يتحملها الجميع. الشباب في أي مجتمع يشكلون قدرات وطاقات هائلة للإصلاح والتغيير الجذري في المجالات الإقتصادية والإجتماعية والسياسية. تأتي مبادرة المركز الهادفة إلى فهم طموحات وأفكار الشباب من الإيمان التام بأن الشباب هم شركاء أساسين وفاعلين في عملية التطوير والبناء وصناعة المستقبل. وبناءا عليه فإن المركز يعلن عن نشاطين هما:
1.مسابقة بحثية في موضوع " تعليمك في رسم وصياغة مستقبل مجتمعك "
2.استضافة المشاركين في المسابقة في المؤتمر السنوي الأول للشباب.
في أربع نقاط موجزة، يسعى المؤتمر إلى تحقيق الأهداف التالية:
1.تحفيز الشباب وتشجيعهم على بلورة رؤيتهم للمستقبل.
2.تشجيع الشباب على التعبير عن طموحاتهم بمنهجية البحث العلمي للتعريف باسهامات الآخرين.
3.تطوير كادر من الشباب المتحفز للمشاريع والمبادرات المستقبلية.
4.تشجيع الشباب على الربط بين التعليم والتدريب وبين احتياجات مجتمعاتهم.
