In April 2018, in the release of House Details 1,we stated: "Over more than a year(...) more than 1600 hours of cad work (...)"
In Nov 2019 for n.4, volumes 1 and 2: "After 16 months of production (...)"
In Nov 2020 for n.5:" After 12 Months of deep work and several restarts(...)" "About 2000 hours(...)"
For the books Álvaro Siza in detail: "(...) more than three years and 4052 hours of work(...)"
"Every possible effort that could be made, was made. A deeply exhausting and exhausting process, both physically and mentally."
Now, we have the honour of, after almost 4 years since the beginning of our work and following the same unprofitable philosophy from the commercial point of view, finally being able to put an end to the exhausting process of elaboration of House Details 6, dedicated to the Great World Master, Álvaro Siza and to the excellent professional and co-author of the Maia house, architect António Madureira.
We assumed the stupidity from the point of view of profitability. However, we did the best we could and knew how. It will be up to you to judge our work.
We hope you enjoy it.
Normally a House Details takes at least 2000 hours to produce. We are ashamed to say how long this one has taken. There will never be a repeat of this continual dragging on time because of the various consequences it brings.
Like all House Details, it was produced with the complete project in CAD, for which we thank, as sincerely as possible, the generous architects Álvaro Siza and António Madureira. We are also grateful for all the immense good that has been done to us, all that has been provided to us, with such kindness and humanity.

In this first online charity auction, which took place on March 11th, live, on the House Details instagram account, 191€ have been donated due to the sale of 2 copies of the House Details 5 Collector's Edition, limited to 10 units and with several extras, created exclusively for these auctions.
We are very grateful for the generosity of the architect Eduardo Souto de Moura who signed the magazines and allowed the publication of his work. We extend our special thanks to the owner of the house, Dr. Pedro Mendonça , to Souto de Mouras´s team, engineers Manuel Pedro Melo, Adriano Cardoso and Marta Cardoso. Without the publication of their work, these auctions would never have taken place.

Este concurso tem como objectivo, o apoio e divulgação dos excelentes arquitectos portugueses, dadas as dificuldades que existem para que o seu trabalho possa ser conhecido.
Assim, pretende-se selecionar um dos participantes para a publicação do seu trabalho, sem encargos financeiros para o mesmo, numa das edições de 2021 da revista periódica House Details Architecture (estando as restantes já determinadas), assim como, incentivar o desenvolvimento de competências e a sensibilização do papel essencial e determinante do detalhe técnico no projecto de arquitectura, valorizando igualmente o trabalho técnico dos profissionais de arquitectura Portuguesa.
