Happy 1st birthday attention.pt!🎂🥳 We fell in love with Portugal during a vacation, but when we moved here years later from Hungary, we didn’t dare hope that we’d immediately find clients and have the chance to do what we truly love: social media and content creation!
But what’s the most memorable thing from the first year?
💁‍♀️Panni: “For me, it was when José Avillez liked one of our videos - even if it seems like just a small gesture online. It was for our series where we created short videos for small local businesses that couldn’t afford expensive commercials. Those shoots will forever have a special place in my heart!”
💁‍♂️Peter: “I’ll never forget when, after filming with an elderly shop owner couple, the lady handed us their best chocolate and a bouquet of flowers, just to say thank you for our work. Look who we found on the street! Fábio, or as they know him in Pinhal Novo, Sr. Padeiro , gets up at 2am to deliver warm breads and pastries to the homes of still-sleeping people, just before breakfast. And that final sentence in the video...🥺

OMG! We went to a random business again to offer a free video! The exciting final result arrives on Thursday! Fábio wakes up while you're still asleep: before 5 am, so he can get to everyone's houses and carefully leave fresh, warm pastries for breakfast. Thursday will have it all: crusty bread, beautiful countryside, and most importantly, a story that you won't forget and that will motivate you for the rest of the week!

A year ago, we moved to Lisbon because during a vacation, we fell in love with Portugal. Since then, it has become our true home, which is one of the charms of this country: full of acceptance and love. Our business was doing well in Hungary, we were producing TV shows and working for the biggest advertising agency, but our hearts were pulling us elsewhere. And we believe it’s better to listen to the heart, always.❤️ A year ago, we started from scratch to rebuild our Portuguese social media team, attention.pt, and with a lot of work, in January 2024, we were able to launch all our platforms. Since then, we often work seven days a week, but every little break, walk in the narrow streets, enjoying a warm choco frito, chatting with dear neighbors, every tiny piece of Portugal fills our souls. We thank this country for welcoming us; we strive to earn the love and trust!👫🐕💚

Don't trust your eyes!❌ If you see a food photo, know that we content creators sometimes cheat like this:🔻

🧊Instead of ice cubes, you might spot gelatin.
🍨Ice cream could be crafted from colored mashed potatoes or frosting mixed with powdered sugar.
🍺The foam on beer lasts longer if we sprinkle salt on it.
🍕The stretchy cheese on the pizza? We cheat by mixing melted mozzarella with some glue.
