Introducing to you the next Taht al radar artists...

Yasmine Omari 📹aims to illustrate a metaphysical dimension through her layered and surreal visuals by using documentary and studio-created footage. In doing so her visual vernacular becomes a vehicle to explore inner-states of nostalgia, identity, emotions and imaginative spaces.

Dina Amin 🎤🎬 is a Palestinian filmmaker and vocalist born in Jerusalem, Palestine. She is the co-founder of Space Collective based in Palestine. Her entry into singing began in 2018, she was mentored by an Italian operalist in the mountains of Trento in the North of Italy. Now her music is between Disco/ Afro-Funk and Soul. Dinamiin directed, co-produced, and performed in her own first Music Video, “Jowa El-Kon ''. Her most recent single, Dawameh’ an official Lyric Video released on August 31st 2023.

Freecheh 🪩 is a Palestinian artist based in Ramallah. Her DJ sets hold the space for exploration of sound and movement, usually conveying a message to her audience. She incorporates various genres such as Arabic folklore, deep house, hip hop, afrobeat, techno, tekno, drum and bass, psycore and psytrance.

في 22.08.، تقدم "تحت الرادار" مشروع "بذرة بطيخ"، مشروع لجمعية صابرين للتنمية الفنية، في إطار الاتحاد الفني والإنتاجي للقدس - الحفاظ على الثقافة الفلسطينية معًا (ASAS) والمموّل من قبل الاتحاد الأوروبي.
الفنانين:

مارغو مصلح (25)، فنانة ومعلمة موسيقى من القدس. لقد كانت جزءًا أساسيًا من فرقة بنات القدس المحترمة لمدة تقترب من عقد من الزمان. "!عادي يلا"، هو إصدارها الثاني الأصلي، تكوين ساحر كتبته وألحانها مارغو نفسها، وتم توزيعه بواسطة سعيد مراد.

كرما (24)، لديها خلفية متعددة تشمل السينما والتصميم الرقمي. انجذبت في البداية إلى كتابة الشعر، من خلال "بذرة بطيخ"، استغلت كرما الفرصة لتحويل شعرها إلى أغنية من خلال إصدارها الأول "متحت كلم". تم تلحين الأغنية وإنتاجها من قبل سعيد مراد.

سلوادي (26)، كاتب أغاني ومغني موهوب، من كفر عقب. كعضو في فرقة الهيب هوب "!ساليك"، وكفنان منفرد، لديه سجل متزايد من الأغاني الناجحة. أحدث إصدار له "!كله بيتبدل"، يُظهر براعته في الكلمات ويتميز بإنتاج استثنائي من قبل جيريس بعبيش.

On 22.08. “Under the Radar” presents Bizer Batteekh, Sabreen Association for Artistic Development‘s project under the Jerusalem Art and Production Consortium - Preserving Palestinian Culture Together (ASAS) funded by the European Union.

The artists:

Margo Misleh (25), is an artist and music teacher from Jerusalem. She is an integral part of the esteemed Banat Al Quds band. "3adi Yalla," is her second original release, a mesmerizing composition written and composed by Margo herself, and arranged by Said Murad.

Karma (24), has a multifaceted background that includes film and digital design. Initially drawn to writing poetry, through Bizr Bateekh Karma turned her poetry into song with her first release, “Matahet Kalam”, composed and produced by Said Murad.

Silwadiii (26), a talented songwriter, rapper, and singer hailing from Kufr Aqab. As a member of the hip-hop group "Saaleek" and as a solo artist Silwadiii already has a growing catalog of hits. His latest release, "Kollo Byitbadal" showcases his lyrical prowess, featuring production by Jeires Babish.

We are pleased to announce that Gheilan has been selected by the Palestine Connect 2023 jury for an artistic residency and tour in France!

In September 2023 they will be invited to France for a one week residency and a concert at the Festival Arabesques (Montpellier) followed by series of concerts at Le Rocher de Palmer (Cenon/Bordeaux), l’Institut du monde arabe (Paris), and le Point Fort (Aubervilliers).

We also we want to congratulate Dinamiin and Osprey V for their participation and great showcases.

All 3 project participants will continue the program with a series of workshops, recording sessions, and other exciting opportunities ahead.

الحلقة الرابعة والأخيرة بتختم المسلسل بأصوات تم تسجيلها في مناطق مختلفة من فلسطين، واللي بتتضمن أصوات طبيعية وبيئية تحولت وانتجت لتصير أصوات جديدة توسع الانعكاس في العلاقات المختلفة بين الصوت والحياة في فلسطين، بالزبط متل الحلقات التلات القبل. مدى تعقيد تكوين المشهد الصوتي – تم استخدام ساعات كتيرة من تسجيلات الأصوات المختلفة اللي تحولت إلى أصوات جديدة وهالاشي مش بس يعتبر مسألة فنية، لأنه بنفس الوقت بثير تساؤلات عن كيفية سماعنا للمشهد الصوتي لفلسطين.

The fourth and final episode concludes the series with sounds captured in different regions of Palestine, and which include natural and environmental sounds, transformed and processed to become new sounds that extend the reflection on the different relationships between sound and life in Palestine, as in the three previous episodes. The complexity of the soundscape composition -- using many hours of recordings of different sounds and transforming them into new sounds is not just a technical or artistic matter, but it also raises questions on how do we actually hear the soundscape of Palestine.

الحلقة الأولى: الدنغل مع معتصم

يستضيف المنتج الموسيقي ومقدم البرنامج 'الدنغل' في الحلقة الأولى من الموسم الثاني الفنان معتصم. وهو فنان فلسطيني مقيم في القدس، فلسطين. وُلد معتصم في القدس عام 2000، وبدأ بتجربة الموسيقى بشغف في سن 13 عامًا حيث بدأ أيضًا في الأداء في الحفلات والمهرجانات المحلية. يبحث معتصم دائمًا عن عمق المشاعر والغموض في موسيقاه، ويتحدث عن الحب ووطنه والشوارع بطريقة فريدة وتدفق "جديد". بدأ معتصم مسيرته الموسيقية بإصدار أغانٍ فردية رسمية في أواخر عام 2019، وهو مستوحى من فنانين محليين مثل The Synaptik و Shabjdeed والعديد من مغني الراب الصاعدين في القدس / المشهد الفلسطيني.
