It’s been a minute. If you’re new to this, back in 2022 I filmed 12 original “acoustic sessions” with Ashlynn featuring her unreleased music. Last week when she came up to visit, we decided to be spontaneous and go film a video in the rain.
The full video is on YouTube. (Linked on page) let us know what you guys think of “Envy”?
Also… don’t forget to get your tickets to Smiles Go Miles Vol II, which will feature Ashlynn and friends taking place on Saturday, August 24th. Check out @jollymuleproductions for more info on that.
Student Life Opener 2024
Here is a project I directed and shot for Student Life Camp & Lifeway Christian Resources
This was such a fun project because I was given full visual creative freedom to bring this script to life. I took it upon myself to book locations, talent, exc. I'm so thankful for the team over at Lifeway for trusting my vision with this project.
Also huge thanks to my on screen talent: Kelton, Aaron, Sammy, and Leilah.
If my life was a book CSU Pueblo would be chapter 3. New vlog type video on YouTube.
2023 was the year I went full time with Colorado State University Pueblo
Thanks to Jeremiah Coca and Gena Alfonso I had the incredible opportunity to lead the social media content team this year. We gained over 1,800 followers, resulting in 514k accounts reached (39k in 2022), 346k impressions (193k in 2022), and almost tripled post engagement from 16k to 38k. (That means 38,000 likes and comments) I also met a handful of incredible folks resulting in some great friendships. Thank you to everyone involved in my 2023. Excited for the next chapter!

Life Update.
I have recently resigned from my position at Colorado State University Pueblo. This decision has been a difficult one, but after a lot of consideration, I believe it is time for me to pursue new opportunities and further my professional development.
Working at Colorado State University Pueblo has been an invaluable experience, and I am truly grateful for the opportunities and support I have received during my time here. The University's commitment to me as an individual has been extremely encouraging, and I have grown both personally and professionally as a result.
As I reflect on my journey, I have come to realize the importance of continuous growth, particularly in the dynamic and innovative field of the creative industry. While I have flourished in many aspects over the past year, I feel that my technical skills have reached a plateau. In order to prioritize my technical development and explore diverse industries, I plan to relocate to the Denver area in the coming months.
Over the last year I have continued to work with various companies on a contract basis. My plan is to continue in my pursuit of freelance opportunities while seeking new challenges and experiences with various agencies. This decision aligns with my aspiration to surround myself with individuals who are constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
I am very excited to announce that I have begun signing contracts for 2024. If you know a friend or business that you believe would be complemented by my work, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thanks,
Jerod
