Yesterday something unexpected happened. After leaving the system idle for hours, I stumbled upon a beautiful, unintentional sound that came to me from nowhere. Inspired, I hit record and started jamming with ambient on a completely stopped modular system. The result? A captivating 33-minute improvised session ✨

This “patch” features two Vhikk X modules, an Ensemble Oscillator, and a Typhoon. Each Vhikk X is filtered through a dedicated Dual Dagger and further processed - one with FX Aid and the other with Electus Versio. Additionally, some part of the sound is subtly enhanced with Oto Bim and Bam.

BIO:
Daniel has had a passion for Techno music since childhood. In 2021, he decided to embark on a musical journey as Lutzfire, experiencing many thrilling moments as a DJ and budding producer. He is currently based in the center of Poland. Over the past three years, Lutzfire has had the honor of performing at notable venues such as the Ciało club in Wroclaw and the LAS Festival in Paczyn. During this time, he released his first EP, CAMINO, with another one already on the way.

Drawing inspiration from various artists, Lutzfire continually develops his unique approach, blending different elements and styles of techno music. After three years, Daniel decided to take a step forward by performing live using his hardware instruments and modular system. Building his first modular system and discovering it every day significantly enhanced his creativity, further motivating him to continue working.

This is the eighth episode of LTZCAST, featuring DJ Pehata, who, as you'll soon discover, have a knack for spinning musical tales.

DJ Pehata is a Bulgarian artist born in the capital city of Sofia. He was first introduced to electronic music around 2008 when he fell in love with it and started DJing as a hobby only a couple of years later. His alter ego “Pehata” was born around 2020, when he felt confident, that he could deliver quality sound to any audience he was performing in front of.

With every performance, DJ Pehata brings a fresh and unique energy that never fails to captivate his audience. His passion for music is infectious, and his ability to connect with people through his art makes him an exceptional and inspiring artist. Recently he had his first productions released in several VA compilations and is currently shaping his signature sound which he hopes to deliver something distinguishable.

With this special recording, DJ Pehata wanted to express the rapidly changing modern world, in which we are required to be constantly flexible and adaptable to any circumstances coming our way. Despite claiming to live in a “modern” and “civilized” era, we still face events that are falling far from those criteria and unfortunately trends and “social media” are not exactly helping the electronic scene in the way we wished they would. The message he wants to deliver is to be different and unique. Fight for what you love and what you stand for and stay true to yourselves. Everyone has something special that makes him stand out from the crowd, so don’t let trends destroy your creativity, personality, and most importantly – your understanding of music and art.
