Recently, we transitioned our software to ClickUp 3.0. This choice resulted from searching for a modern, user-friendly tool to streamline our processes. The strengths of ClickUp 3.0 lie in its award-winning usability and advanced built-in features, such as the inbox, time reporting panels, goal tracking, and the ability to organize data in various views.

What causes players to be unable to tear themselves away from a game? The plot, of course, but when paired with a compelling story are beautiful views, magnificent locations, and an immersive "vibe" of the presented world, the player can get lost in the experiences they undergo. When there is a need to create a unique world, Michał Szumlański is unparalleled. His experiences from studying architecture at the Krakow University of Technology and working on numerous projects as a Lead Artist allow him to create extraordinary locations, Points of Interest (POI), and lighting. He took his first steps at Covenant.dev with the game "Gord," where he created magic-infused and mysterious locations emphasizing the dangers lurking in the darkness.

Hey there! How are your New Year's resolutions? We have a few of our own, but the most important is improving communication with the community. We're not just talking forum discussions and social media posts – we will dive into regular community brainstorms, AMA sessions, screenshots, videos showcasing WIP mechanics, community surveys, and more. We would like to get your opinions and suggestions about every aspect of our new game! We invite you to participate in this creative process from the beginning of the project, while many things have not been decided yet. Stay tuned for our announcement of a project codenamed "Veles".

Arek’s inspirations by Miyazaki and Japanese animations led him to study Visual Arts and Animations at Salford University which then led him to work in VFX and Animation Industry.
After years working on game cinematic, commercials and animation projects for number of companies in Poland and UK he decided to join his two passions - visual art and games and moved to game development.

A part of contribiuting on few projects as freelance artist he worked at 11bit Studios where he quickly progressed from Character Art to become a Lead Artist on Project 8.

When not working Arek enjoys road cycling which he treats as a type of meditation. In addition he likes to explore nature on long hikes with his dog and dwell on anything art and design related.

Christmas is upon us! Some are raiding stores in search of last-minute presents, others are planning out Christmas dishes and assigning their ex*****on to particular family members, but some found a moment to meet up in a nice, little company circle and wish each other a lot of patience in all this hustle and a happy coming back to work in 2024! ;)

Our tip? Get a great producer. Jan is incredible at his job, as head of production he follows up on outstanding items and makes sure everything is on track.

Since a young age Jan wanted to be a filmmaker, and was inspired by Star Wars and its many games. Rogue Squadron, Shadows of the Empire, Phantom Menace. As life sometimes goes, he went from Film School to working at CD PROJEKT RED where he helped produce The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.

Other than production, Jan is also passionate about UX. In Gord, he helped design gamepad controls for Console and PC.

A man of many talents! 🧡

Our journey began with Gord in 2019— Stan Just worked on it alone, with a newly purchased Slavic lore book at his side.

Inspired by his work on The Witcher 3, Stan envisioned a Witcher styled Northgard where players would manage a town and build relationships with their subjects.

Since then we've grown from a small concepting team. We've received Best Places to Work 3 years in a row. And we can't wait for you to play Gord.

Aleksei believes games are a tool for self-expression and communication. Choosing programming as a way to enter the gaming industry, he noodled on many projects during University that didn't quite see the light of day.

Nevertheless those projects gave him valuable experience as a programmer, and when a position opened up with us, we were happy to invite him onboard. 🧡
