Happy anniversary! 🎉

Two years ago, we took a chance and got married.

We did it after just 11 months of dating to chase our wild dream of freedom.

It was scary, full of doubts, and the road was anything but straight.

We faced visa issues and had to figure out how to make a living on the move.

But guess what?

It only made us stronger, more in love, and brought us closer to the life we imagined.

We managed to combine traveling the world with professional growth.

It wasn't easy, but it was worth it, and it's possible for you too.

Your dream life is within reach.

Uniting our families in France! 🇫🇷

After our second wedding, which took place last summer in Poland, we went on a trip to Paris.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our families to bond and create unforgettable memories.

Even though they couldn't speak the same language, they understood each other perfectly.

It was worth it! 🇪🇸

Just a month ago, we were in Poland, waiting for Majo's new residency.

However, the process was in limbo, and our plans were on hold.

Finally, we received the big news: the visa was approved!

Joy quickly turned to a race against time.

We had to:

✔️ book flights to Spain
✔️ pick up the residency
✔️ find a home in Alicante
✔️ leave Gdansk apartment

All in less than three weeks.

But we made it!

The rush, goodbyes, and last-minute packing were all worth it.

Now, settled in Spain, we reflect on our nomadic rollercoaster.

Reflecting on the incredible time at Bansko Nomad Fest 2023! 🇧🇬

Looking back, it's amazing how one event can leave such a lasting impact.

The festival was an incredible opportunity to connect with other nomads, absorb invaluable insights, and blast at the various events.

A big shoutout to the Bansko Nomad Fest team for creating such a memorable experience.

Flavor Chronicles - Amsterdam 🇳🇱

I'm sorry to say this, but the Dutch cuisine was slightly disappointing.

Since we haven't found any regional dishes that would be worth recommending, here are the five things we enjoyed the most:

3. Pizza at Italiaanse Delicatessen Nuraghe
4. Argentinan parillada at Amigo Grill Restaurant
5. Fish and chips at Taverne de Visscher in Marken Island

Alcazaba, the Moorish palace fortress in the heart of Malaga! 🏰

The word "Alcazaba" translates to "citadel" in English, and that's exactly what it was - a fortified castle that protected the city. 🛡

Here are my top 5 tips for making the most out of your remote work journey:

1️⃣ Create a routine and stick to it as much as possible.

It can help you establish a sense of structure and stability in an otherwise unpredictable lifestyle, increasing your productivity and efficiency. By setting times for work and breaks, you can better manage your time and minimize distractions.

2️⃣ Invest in tools that help you stay organized.

These tools are vital for staying on top of your responsibilities. They help manage your time, track progress, and keep work-related information in one place. A well-organized system can improve efficiency, freeing more leisure activities and exploration.

3️⃣ Set boundaries and know how to prioritize.

Without clear boundaries, it can be easy to blur the lines between work and play, leading to an unhealthy relationship with your job. By setting precise boundaries, you can achieve a better work-life balance.

Caminito del Rey - Spain's Most Dangerous Hike! ⚠️

Caminito del Rey was on our bucket list before we arrived in Spain. Once we settled in, we had to go and see this beautiful place ourselves! 😍

This famous walkway is located in southern Spain 🇪🇸, close to the city of el Chorro and was built in 1905 to provide access to workers in hydroelectric power plants.

The path had been closed for safety reasons since 2000 and reopened to the public in 2015 after extensive restoration work, making it a must-see destination for adventure seekers.

The views 🌄 are spectacular, and the thrill of walking on the narrow paths with sheer drops on either side is not for the faint of heart.

Bonus fact: the Camino del Rey is also known as the "King's little pathway," named after King Alfonso XIII, who inaugurated it. 🤴🏼

What does it mean to be location independent? 🧭

For the last two years, my main goal has been to become location independent. It wasn't easy since it required us to put in a lot of effort and unconventionally organize our life. But finally, we have achieved it!🥳

Being location independent means embracing the ability to work remotely and making the most of it. Whether it's a sunny beach in Malaga or a cozy cafe in Quito, my office is wherever I am. It also means exploring new places, meeting cool people, and experiencing different cultures without sacrificing precious days off!

However, being a digital nomad is not just about traveling and working. It's about having the flexibility to create a work-life balance that works best for me. It means waking up later when I want to, going for a walk during the day, or just spending some time with the people I love while growing and achieving my professional goals.

Being location independent is not for everyone, but for those who embrace it, it's a lifestyle choice that can lead to a more fulfilling and exciting life. 🏖
