📖 Business English Grammar in Context: Conditionals
Ćwiczenia gramatyczne nie muszą być oderwane od rzeczywistości. Spójrzcie na przykład z hiszpańskiego kryzysu mieszkaniowego – gdzie conditionals świetnie oddają różne scenariusze.
👉 Uzupełnijcie zdania odpowiednim czasownikiem i formą (1st, 2nd, 3rd conditional).
1️⃣ If the government _______ more in social housing a decade ago, the shortage of properties would not be so severe today.
2️⃣ Rents wouldn’t be increasing so quickly if property owners _______ their flats as holiday rentals.
3️⃣ If the ‘golden visa’ programme _______ sooner, foreign buyers wouldn’t have driven prices up so dramatically.

💡 Tip:
First conditional → real situations (If + present, will + base verb)
Second conditional → imagined/unlikely (If + past, would + base verb)
Third conditional → imagined past (If + past perfect, would have + past participle)
