Society of Polymer Engineers and Technologists (SPET) hosted an illuminating symposium on Polymer Sheet Extrusion. The seminar was led by experts in the field. The key speaker Mr. Ardjan Houtekamer from Netherlands revealed close insights of the process and Mr. Raja Omer Nawaz disclosed the new market trends.
Under the supervision of Dr. Asif Ali Qaiser, Chairman Department of Polymer and Process Engineering, the seminar benefitted many students ready to bring innovation in the Polymer world. Worthy Vice Chancellor UET Lahore also joined the seminar as key guest.

Our Alma Mater, our home. The home, we all are skeptic about. Despite its prevailing silence, it will always echo in our veins. Its aura and serenity will be our nostalgia one day.
Some may find it irrational, but we owe this campus a few unparallel blessings. Friendships, career and a grooming cadre are some of its debts we will never be able to pay.
UET Tribune introduced the Tribune Production House in the previous academic year, to manifest and show the campus to its alumini and the freshmen as well. Perpetuating this tradition, we have captured some beautiful campus shots that represent the beauty of our alma mater.
The aim of the house is to project the bright image of the campus to the UET Family. The process also includes procuring freshmen with opportunity to explore their videography and editing skills. Thus simulating a constructive and healthy environment to grow for the Tribune Family.

Ballons were scattered everywhere, the hall illuminated with green and white decorations, and Gratification surrounded the air. In the midst of this, there stood the glorious flag of our beloved state.
The ceremony held on 14th August 2023 at the Chemical Seminar hall of UET, started with a recitation of the Holy Quran, mili songs played in the background, speeches delivered to remember the hustle for getting Pakistan, and ended with the recitation of the National Anthem. Children were cheering by flaring flags in their hands. And just like that, the independence day of Pakistan was deliberately celebrated by UET and its people. UET Tribune was also present to witness the enthusiasm and positive energy of the event.
