Fox Cricket reported that he passed away in Koh Samui, Thailand, of a suspected heart attack.

According to the publication, Warne’s management released a brief statement saying that he had passed away.

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations on Wednesday delivered a carefully worded speech at the emergency session of the UN General Assembly, calling for de-escalation of tensions and sustained dialogue.

While Ambassador Munir Akram did make a speech at the UNGA, Pakistan abstained from voting on a resolution that deplored Russia’s military action against Ukraine.

The resolution, which won support from 141 of the 193-member body, came at the end of a rare emergency session of General Assembly called by the Security Council and as Russian forces pounded Ukraine’s cities with airstrikes and bombardments, forcing hundreds of thousands of people to flee.

China, India and Bangladesh among other countries also abstained from voting.

Iran's supreme leader said US policies are to blame for Russia's invasion of Ukraine, calling for an end to the war that broke out last week.

"The root cause of the Ukraine crisis is the US and the West's policies," Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a televised speech marking a Muslim religious anniversary.

"The United States regime is a crisis-creating and crisis-living one. It feeds on crisis.

"In my opinion, today Ukraine is also the victim of such policy. Today, the Ukraine situation is related to this US policy. The US has dragged Ukraine to this point," he added.

He accused Washington of meddling in the "internal affairs of the country, setting up demonstrations against the governments, creating velvet revolutions, creating colour coup d'etats".

Relief Package or a Political Move?

The government just unveiled a people's assistance package that will cost 237 billion rupees over four months. Scholarships, internships, and lower petrol, diesel, and energy rates are among them. Although this appears to be a helpful package for the public, does the government have sufficient means to deliver such relief? If that isn't the case, where will this money come from? The government is already struggling to balance its finances due to twin deficits.
Whether the money comes from the IMF's relief fund or a mini budget, it will have a financial impact. Then, through indirect taxation, the entire burden will fall on the people. Such an announcement is frequently perceived as a political move rather than a modest relief package at a time when the no-confidence motion against the existing administration is gathering traction. The government, on the other hand, believes that these actions will have no influence on the fiscal deficit limit.

Gilgit-Baltistan Parliamentary Committee on Provisional Province rejected the bill submitted by the senators of BAP in Senate.

A meeting held at Gilgit-Baltistan House on Monday 28 February in Islamabad.

Members have reservations on the bill submitted by senators of BAP without taking people of Gilgit-Baltistan in confidence.

The committee also refused to work on Gilgit-Baltistan provisional reforms till the withdrawal of Bill.

Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid khurshid Khan said I have contacted with Prime Minister and Chairman senat in this regard, they assured me to withdraw bill Submitted by BAP.
