2022 recap

Year started with Mahol Sahelian, a challenging subject I never thought I would be able to write and illustrate. and team made it possible. A learning venture that gifted me a new hobby gardening. These three books convinced me to write more, as I have been more inclined towards illustrating. Now its a tie.

Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) team met with The Governor of Punjab and launched Three Books on Climate Change a Trilogy titled "Mahol Sahelian" under ITA Publications by author/illustrator Maria Riaz Tauseef.
The Governor Punjab Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman was pleased with the efforts on Climate Change by ITA, a much needed area of attention and action through interactive content and stories; he congratulated the author Maria Riaz Tauseef and ITA leadership on timely publications. He assured support for widespread dissemination of Mahol Saheliyan and its three impactful beautifully illustrated stories Sabz Bagh, Pahaar sa Kaam and Naiya Paar ! He also thanked ITA for all its publications including the 28 wonderful illustrated and adapted books by ITA under the Pakistan Literacy Project by Room to Read. The 9 Lifeskills for Adolescent Girls in 5 Languages including Punjabi were appreciated with a request to support Seraiki publications as well.
