A proud moment for Pakistan came when it was announced that Pakistan women's football team will compete in an international tournament. The team will reportedly visit Saudi Arabia next month to participate in a four-nation tournament and play the first match on January 11.

Following the 2013 FIFA ban due to inactivity, the green shirts remained inactive despite the fact that the ban was lifted in 2017. However, seeing the enthusiasm shown by the Pakistani football players and the audience, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) is on its way to revive the national squad with regular camps.

While the green shirts previously participated in the South Asian Football Federation championship last September with a stellar 7-0 victory over Maldives, the national squad is all set to play against Mauritius and Saudi Arabia on January 15 and 19, respectively, at the tournament being held in KSA.

According to Nio, its new ultra-fast charger is accessible to all manufacturers of electric vehicles and is available to the public. It is capable of producing a maximum charging current of 660 A, making it one of the highest-powered chargers on the market. With its impressive output, the Nio charger is expected to significantly reduce charging times for electric cars and make the process of charging more convenient and efficient for drivers. It is available to the public, making it accessible to a wide range of electric vehicle owners.

The new ultra-fast charger is capable of delivering an 80% charge to electric vehicles built on the 800 V platform in as little as 12 minutes, provided that the vehicle has at least a 10% charge. For electric vehicles built on the 400 V platform, the charging time is around 20 minutes to achieve the same level of charge. These charging times are significantly faster than those of traditional charging stations and are expected to be particularly convenient for drivers who need to quickly recharge their vehicles while on the go

Dubai will soon be home to the first physical NFT shop, located at the Mall of the Emirates.

Operated by international tech giant SoftConstruct, the ftNFT Shop will offer customers to browse, buy and sell NFTs in person.
Visitors can also interact with and look through a unique variety of physical art and even create 3D avatars of themselves through a professional 3D scanner, the company said in a statement.

During the store opening, guests will also be able to interact with the region’s NFT artists and exhibitors in person and to learn about their work firsthand.

“Among the attendees will be Amrita Sethi, the first NFT artist in the UAE and one that has created an original style of bringing art to life and vice versa through Voice Note Art. We will also see a wide collection of AKNEYE, a number of hand painted and unique eye sculptures, alongside the exclusive art toys by Chiko & Roko, all exhibited within the shop,” SoftConstruct said.

پیلے کی وفات کی خبر سن کر ساؤ پاؤلو میں ایلبرٹ آئن سٹائن ہسپتال میں ان کے مداح اکھٹے ہو رہے ہیں۔ کئی نے 10 نمبر کی شرٹس پہن رکھی تھیں جو پیلے دوران کھیل پہنا کرتے تھے۔
ہسپتال کے باہر ایک بینر آویزاں کیا گیا ہے جس پر ’امر شہنشاہ پیلے‘ کے الفاظ لکھے گئے ہیں۔
یہ وہ لمحہ ہے جس کی برازیلین لوگوں کے لیے متوقع تو تھا لیکن یہ ان کے لیے درد ناک بھی ہے۔ حالیہ ہفتوں میں، پیلے کی بیٹی کیلے ناسیمینٹو اپنے والد کے مداحوں کو ان کی حالت کے بارے میں اپ ڈیٹ رکھنے کے لیے انسٹاگرام پر پوسٹ کیا۔ لوگ ان کی ہر پوسٹ اور سٹوری کو فالو کیا جاتا تھا۔
جب آخرکار پیلے کے گزر جانے کی خبر آئی تو یہ لوگوں کے لیے ایک بڑا لمحہ تھا۔ ہسپتال نے ایک بیان جاری کیا جس میں اس کی بڑی آنت کے کینسر کے باعث ایک سے زیادہ اعضا کی ناکامی کے بعد ان کی موت کی تصدیق کی گئی تھی لیکن یہ صرف ایک طبی خبر سے زیادہ تھا، اس میں یہ بھی کہا گیا کہ ہسپتال ’فٹ بال کے شہنشاہ‘ کو کھونے پر ان کے خاندان اور عوام کے دکھ میں شریک ہے۔

پاکستان کے سرکاری زرمبادلہ ذخائر تقریباً 9 سال بعد پہلی مرتبہ 6 ارب ڈالرز کی سطح سے نیچے آ گئے، اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کے پاس ذخائر صرف 5 ارب 82 کروڑ ڈالرز رہ گئے، ملک کے مجموعی ذخائر 12 ارب ڈالرز کی سطح سے نیچے گر گئے۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق سٹیٹ بینک کے مطابق ایک ہفتے کے دوران مرکزی بینک کے ذخائر 29 کروڑ 40 لاکھ ڈالرز کی کمی سے 6 ارب ڈالرز سے بھی نیچے آکر 5 ارب 82 کروڑ 19 لاکھ ڈالرز کی تشویشناک سطح پر پہنچ گئے۔
جبکہ کمرشل بینکوں کے پاس 5 ارب 88 کروڑ 53 لاکھ ڈالرز موجود ہیں، یوں مرکزی بینک کے ذخائر کی سطح کمرشل بینکوں سے بھی کم ہوگئے ہیں۔ ترجمان اسٹیٹ بینک کے مطابق ملک کے مجموعی زرمبادلہ کے ذخائر 11 ارب 70 کروڑ ڈالر کی سطح پر ہیں۔

انڈیا کے وزیر اعظم نریندر مودی کی والدہ ہیرا بین 100 سال کی عمر میں چلی بسی ہیں۔ ہیرا بین کو بدھ کے روز احمد آباد کے یو این مہتا ہسپتال میں ان کی طبیعت خراب ہونے پر داخل کرایا گیا تھا۔
وزیر اعظم مودی نے اپنی والدہ کی موت پر ٹویٹ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایک شاندار صدی کا اختتام ہو گیا ہے۔ ’میں نے ماں کو ہمیشہ ایک تریمورتی کے روپ میں دیکھا، جن میں ایک سنیاسی کا سفر، بے لوث کرمایوگی کی علامت اور اقدار سے وابستہ پرعزم زندگی شامل ہے۔
وزیر اعظم مودی نے ایک اور ٹویٹ میں کہا کہ ’جب میں ان کی 100ویں سالگرہ پر ان سے ملا تو انھوں نے ایک بات کہی تھی، جو ہمیشہ یاد رکھو گا کہ دانشمندی سے کام لو اور پاکیزہ زندگی گزارو۔‘
