میں نہیں ہوں توپھر یہ تُو ہی نہ ہو

دل میں ترکِ تمنا جاگی ہے
تجھ سے ملنے کی آرزو ہی نہ ہو

یہ بھی ممکن ہے زندگی بھر میں
آپکی خود سے گفتگو ہی نہ ہو

اس سے بڑھ کر بھی کیا بُرا ہو گا
اپنے ہونے کی جستجو ہی نہ ہو

میرے سینے پہ اپنے ہونٹ نہ رکھ
دل کہیں مائلِ سبو ہی نہ ہو

دوست دشمن کی جانچ کر ضیغم
تو بھی اپنا کہیں عدو ہی نہ ہو
