India's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has mandated television stations to broadcast national interest or public service content for 30 minutes a day.
The ministry's latest uplink and download regulations state that, with the exception of sports and wildlife, television channels must broadcast such content in the national interest.

The ministry has also exempted foreign broadcasters from obligations, India Today reported.
Apurva Chandra, secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, told the media that he would continue to discuss the matter with the relevant parties.
“We plan to issue a circular on this shortly, but before that we will meet and discuss with all stakeholders,” the official said. She said the time to broadcast the 30-minute essential content each day has not yet been determined, adding that the ministry is working on modalities.

“As radio waves/frequencies are public property and must be used in the best interest of society, companies/who have permission to uplink and downlink channels in India based on these guidelines/ At least 30 minutes a day of public service broadcasting on issues of national importance and social relevance,” the new guidelines said.

Republican Mehmet Oz, who could have become the country's first Muslim senator, lost, but the election of a record-breaking number of Muslims is still a victory. Oz lost his seat in Pennsylvania.
Most of the Muslim victories have taken place in red states such as Virginia, Georgia, and Texas. The list of elected Muslim members includes 20 incumbents and his 17 new candidates. Some popular Muslim politicians, such as MPs Ilhan Omar and Rashida Talib, have retained their positions.
Seats won range from city councils and local school boards to the US House of Representatives.
CAIR began tracking Mursim's election victory in 2020, when 71 Muslims were elected. In 2022, that record will be broken with the most election wins in American history.
CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said the country was witnessing a "political transformation".

And, of course, there is a constant stream of provocative reports, some credible and many unreliable, about war-related events, mostly to satisfy the Western government's daily thirst for propaganda. is intended for U.S. President Joe Biden has boldly claimed that the war in Ukraine “will last as long as necessary,” which clearly means that the U.S. will do everything in its power to prolong the war. For the media, that means months, if not years, of constant coverage of sensational war stories and talented Ukrainian actors playing the president. The prospect of lingering over the next few years risks dissuading a public weary of the fact that growing domestic problems are less important than the sacred duty of fueling conflict in Eastern Europe.
