Our Story

Folio Books is a Lahore-based independent publishing house committed to publishing a diverse range of academic and popular non-fiction, besides political and historical fiction as well as resistance poetry. Founded in 2017, Folio aspires to contribute to a more socially just world by publishing works that bring to fore progressive views about politics, economics, religion, society, art and culture. We also produce informative, engaging and researched books for students. Feminism for the 99%: A Manifesto (2020) is our latest publication.
