wasn't spoken about enough in the series vs Afghanistan. Our ace bowler FINALLY looked 100% fit. It was so great to see him bowling at 90 MPH again. Ended up being the leading wicket-taker of the series with 6 wickets in 3 matches at an average of just 16. This is such a great sign for PCT. The leader of the pace attack in full flow right before the major tournaments. Alhumdulilah. 🦅

Farooqi, Gurbaz, MANKAD, and Shadab-The Story of a BETRYAL, and PAKISTAN’s DIGNIFIED RESPONSE 😓😡👑

LONG POST ALERT 🚨

Okay so in Part 2 of the Incidents that Hapoen that day, Let’s deep-dive into Shadab's ManKad Saga which started all the Controversy.

First of all, I think it's clear that MANKADING SHADAB was the plan all along. They talked before the ManKad happened, they agreed that they were gonna go with it coz Shadab will be looking for a Strike, and when it happened, their captain came and high-fived farooqui.

The thing that made Pakistani Team Angry and Pi**ed off was the things that happened after that Mankad Incident. SHADAB looks back, SEES how calm GURBAZ is, sees their team huddle, how NOBODY is surprised, and it immediately clicks for him that they knew all along. For Shadab on a personal level as ISLU CAPTAIN seeing the Betrayal from Two of his Players at ISLU whom he supported alot PI**ED him off.

Shadab was ANGRY. He was disappointed, and they got him pumped up. It reminded me how the umpires in the MCG match got Shaheen and Shadab on THE EDGE when Babar was arguing with them on the no-ball. In the win celebration Shadab is STILL ANGRY AT THEM but dignified.

I think at the end of the day, PCT, I think wasn't mad about the mankad itself, but the PEOPLE that it came from, and in the MANNER that it happened. Babar and his team at their core have a very strong belief system of 'WIN with DIGNITY, and LOSE with DIGNITY'.

It was the first time they experienced it because they've always played with their heart. Pakistani Team is friendly, civilized, always joking with the opposition, it's not in them to resort to being salty. So when the opposition didn't have that same intent, it Irked them.

At the end of the day though, it's clear they're still sticking to their core beliefs, they're gonna keep being humble and civilized, they still SHOOK hands with the opposition, no matter how angry anyone was, and that's PCT for you. BABAR’s PCT Stricly Believes in “PLAY WITH HEART, PLAY WITH PRIDE” 😍👑❤️

Just watched PCB's podcast of Babar and these few minutes are enough to understand for everyone that there’s nothing, absolutely nothing in this world is "For granted". You have to pay for everything, you have to do extra effort to achieve anything.
From buying a bat from Mama's saving to "Gray-Nichols", from skipping lunch because of empathy to his father who couldn’t afford the food for 2 persons everyday to become the brand ambassador of "Pepsi", it all took sacrifices. Now, every twitter trend, Facebook timeline, street talk or news is incomplete without Babar. But no success is overnight, every success has countless untold stories & sacrifices. Glitter in the eyes hides pain of past. An inspiration for the millions.
