Har mobile application developer (chahy flutter developer ho ya koi aur tech stack) ko is chez ka pata hona chahiye k "Package" aur "Plugin" main kya difference hota hai.

Both Pacakge & Plugins developers ki sahulat k liye banaya jaaty hai ta k developer ko wo specific task perform karny k liye wo kaam na karna pary. bas aik chota sa difference hai dono k beech.

DIFFERENCE:
- Package kabhi bhi native platforms yani Android & iOS ki native APIs k sath interact nahi karty

Example: velocity_x (flutter ka aik package hai jo developers ki productivity ko 10x kardeta hai and main bohat zyada use karta hu isko).

- Aik plugin Android & iOS ki native APIs k sath interact karta hai koi specific task perform karny k liye.

Example: ur_launcher (flutter ka aik plugin hai jo app k andr koi links wagera hon to unko browser main.

https://pub.dev par ready made widgets (in the form of packages) mojud hain jinko aap easily use kar sakty hain rather than wasting time to write code for them as well.. han magr agr aap newbiew hain to aap un packages ka code (Github Repository) jo k publically available hoti hai unka code read karein.. dekhain k wo konsi best coding practices hain jo wo use kar rahein hain.. agr koi cheez aapko new milti hai to zaro bil zaroor aap usko try karein aur apny skill ko enhance karein.

Jab ap packages ki duniya main jayein gy to aapko pata lagy ga k yar sab kuch to readymade para huwa hai to mjhy kya zaroorat hai apna time waste karny ki us code ko dobara likhny ki.. to ye aik bohat hi buri practice hai... wo kyu?

wo isliye k let say kal ko flutter ya dart SDK (Software Development Kit) upgrade hoti hai magar wo package ka jo developer hai uska code according to the latest flutter & dart upgrade nahi hota to pub.dev ki team usko ahista ahista depricate karde g aur aik waqt par usko pub.dev se hi khatam kardegi..

is cheez ko kaisy overcome kia jaye?

Option #1: Ap us package ki repository ki aik copy apny pas save rakhein (Github main) aur jo repository aapney copy ki hai usko use karein rather than using directly using from pub.dev.. aur kal ko agr dart ya flutter main update aati hai to ya to aap khud usko update karlein ya aapka koi mate.

Option #2: Aisa package select karein jo kisi aisi company ya team k under ho jo usko regularly manage kar rahein hon...
