How AI is making us more boring and less creative?

Is Fiverr worth trying for beginners with no experience?

Absolutely. It's a great way to build a worthy portfolio and to learn how to manage people and your own time.
But there are other beginner-friendly alternatives for this. You can use it to work on 99designs, freelancer, and Upwork but the competition in that is really high. Even you make an 8-hour design there is only a 50% chance that your design will be chosen. But when it comes to Fiverr the buyer comes to you. (Only if you have good reviews and gig ranking) Not the other way around. You can make 1.5k a month on Fiverr and yes it’s more stress full than working on a normal job.

How do I rank my gig higher on Fiverr?
Here are 10 Actionable tips to rank your gig on Fiverr:

1. First, you must Use Proper Tags in Gig. Actually, you have to find Some good Keywords which people use to search different services related your Gig.
2. You should attach High-Quality pictures on Gig. I have seen a lot of people attach low-resolution pictures on their Gig which is not a Good idea.
3. Attach proper Video on your Gig. The best thing will be using your own video for your gig, it has higher chances of being selected as Top Gig.
4. Remember After choosing perfect Tags, when you are about to create a video for your Gig, write all tags keyword and include these keywords in your Videos.

What happens if I get bad ratings from customers on Fiverr?

Here’s my little explanation of Fiverr’s rating system. If you have a better means of calculating the overall ratings, do spare some time to add it below.

On Fiverr, each 5 star rating is 100 percent. If a five star rating is 100%, definitely, 1 star
rating would 20%

5 star = 100%
4 star = 80%
3 star = 60%
2 star = 40%
1 star = 20%

It is not possible for a buyer to rate you less than 1 star, so we don’t have anything
to do with 0% unless the order is automatically cancelled by the system for lateness, which may cause the seller to get a 0% rating (not very sure) for that particular order. Fortunately, i haven’t experience automatic order cancellation.

Assuming you are a new seller and the first buyer left a 5 star rating, your overall ratings
would be 100%. If you keep getting 5 star for each sale, your rating will remain 100%. Now
let’s do some simple mathematics with hypothetical figures.

Seller A.

25 Sales overall.
18 “5 star” = 1800
3 “4.5 star” = 270
2 “4 star” = 160
2 “3 star” = 120

=2350/25

=94%

94% is good for your gig, with this your gig will still be in the first to second page…

Getting a good rating is the best.

What are some of the reasons why people have left Fiverr as sellers after having bad experiences with buyers?

Fiverr is really a good platform, free to sign up as a seller and where you can earn consistently.

But the only issue is:

Buyer have upper hand on the platform.
You just wake up to see account blockage..
Account deranked
You have to be looking out for impression and all that while other platform like Upwork doesn't work like that
New seller especially have a hard time to rank above.
