Sateen Jo Aastan is located on the left bank of the Indus River near Rohri, Sindh, Pakistan.
The site is home to the folklore of the Seven Sister, but is also the tomb of Mir Ab Al-Qasim Namkeen. Although the place is not too big, the Indus River has made beautiful and peaceful. Visitors can relax and spot blind dolphins in the Indus, while looking at the Lansdowne Bridge in the background.
Seven Sisters
Rohri, also known as Sateen Jo Aastan, is the resting place for the Seven Sisters. According to folklore seven beautiful unmarried women resided here and veiled (purdah) themselves from all males, also referred to as sattei. A Raja at that time came to know about their beauty and ordered his people to bring those seven sisters in front of him. When the seven sisters heard they became very scared and they started to pray. Suddenly the earth turned downward and those seven unmarried sisters died or they disappeared in a cave. The folklore has its origins in the Hindu ritual of sati, where widows burnt themselves on their dead husband's pyre.
ستین جو آستان روہڑی، سندھ، پاکستان کے قریب دریائے سندھ کے بائیں کنارے پر واقع ہے۔
یہ سائٹ سیون سسٹر کی لوک داستانوں کا گھر ہے، لیکن میر ابالقاسم نمکین کا مقبرہ بھی ہے۔ اگرچہ یہ جگہ زیادہ بڑی نہیں ہے لیکن دریائے سندھ نے خوبصورت اور پرامن بنا دیا ہے۔ زائرین آرام کر سکتے ہیں اور دریائے سندھ میں نابینا ڈولفنز کو دیکھ سکتے ہیں، جبکہ پس منظر میں لانس ڈاؤن پل کو دیکھتے ہیں۔
سات بہنیں
روہڑی، جسے ستین جو آستان بھی کہا جاتا ہے، سات بہنوں کی آرام گاہ ہے۔ لوک داستانوں کے مطابق یہاں سات خوبصورت غیر شادی شدہ خواتین رہتی تھیں اور تمام مردوں سے پردہ کرتی تھیں، جنہیں ستیئی بھی کہا جاتا ہے۔ اس وقت ایک راجہ کو ان کی خوبصورتی کا علم ہوا اور اس نے اپنی قوم کو حکم دیا کہ وہ ان سات بہنوں کو اپنے سامنے لے آئیں۔ جب ساتوں بہنوں نے سنا تو وہ بہت ڈر گئیں اور نماز پڑھنے لگیں۔ اچانک زمین نیچے ہو گئی اور وہ سات غیر شادی شدہ بہنیں مر گئیں یا غار میں غائب ہو گئیں۔ لوک داستان کی ابتدا ستی کی ہندو رسم سے ہوئی ہے، جہاں بیوائیں اپنے مردہ شوہر کی چتا پر خود کو جلا دیتی تھیں۔

The Kachura Lake refers to the three lakes in Skardu Valley. These three lakes are Upper Kachura, Lower Kachura, and less known Zambakha Lake.
Upper Kachura Lake is a clear freshwater lake with a depth of 70 meters (about 230 feet).
Upper Kachura Lake is Pakistan's highest natural freshwater Lake, at over 2,500 meters.
