Job quota reform moment in (Former East Pakistan) Bangladesh just changes the history and future of Bangladesh as Bangladeshi fascist Parliamentary Dictator Former PM Hasina Wajid resign from the office today. This happened when Bangladeshi Army chief gave her 45 minutes time to make decision as Bangladeshi Army chief decline to use more Force against civilians (as the order was given by Hasina Wajid yesterday) because he were know that the decision of using more power against civilians will burn his own wings. Remember in this two months long struggle of Bangladesh youth more than 300+ students lost their Life. After resignation Former Bangladeshi PM flew away in army helicopter to india for seeking political asylum as she done this before. This event add another chapter in the history books of Bangladesh as they got independence 3rd time in a century. Now the future is looking challenging for Bangladesh as no party has enough eligibility to make a stable government in the country. Right now Bangladeshi Army regain the control of Bangladesh to form a temporary caretaker government till the next Bangladeshi Elections.

Violence in Bangladesh has killed at least six people and injured hundreds after students took to the streets to demand reforms to a quota system that governs the distribution of government jobs.

Here are details of the protests and their history:

What triggered the protests?
The demonstrations started last month after the High Court reinstated a quota system for government jobs, overturning a 2018 decision by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government to scrap it.

That move, which covered the 30 per cent of jobs reserved for family members of freedom fighters in the 1971 war for independence, followed similar student protests.

But the Supreme Court suspended the high court order after the government’s appeal, setting a date of August 7 to hear the government’s challenge.

However, the students stepped up their protest when Hasina refused to meet their demands, citing the court proceedings.

What is the quota system?
Introduced in 1972, Bangladesh’s quota system has gone through several changes since.

When it was abolished in 2018, 56 per cent of government jobs were blocked under various quotas.

The bulk covered groups such as freedom fighters’ families, with women and those from underdeveloped districts receiving a share of a tenth each, with 5 per cent allotted to indigenous communities, and 1 per cent for the disabled.

The protesting students want all categories abolished, except the last two.

What sparked the violence?
The protests turned violent this week following clashes between thousands of anti-quota demonstrators and members of the student wing of Hasina’s Awami League party. Police fired rubber bullets and hurled sound grenades and tear gas to scatter protesters who also blocked railway tracks and major roads. Bangladeshi PM also declare the protestors RAZAKAR means Pakistani agent that make students more furious.

مدین میں مشتعل افراد نے توہینِ مذہب کے الزام میں ایک شخص کو زندہ جلا دیا اور تھانے کو بھی آگ لگادی۔

ڈی پی او سوات زاہد اللہ خان کے مطابق قرآن پاک کی مبینہ بے حرمتی کے الزام میں علاقہ مکینوں نے شہری پر تشدد کیا اور اسے برہنہ کرکے سڑکوں پر گھسیٹا۔

ڈی پی او نے بتایا کہ مدین پولیس نے ملزم کو گرفتار کرکے تھانے منتقل کیا تو مشتعل ہجوم نے تھانے کو بھی آگ لگا دی اور توڑ پھوڑ کی جب کہ مشتعل افراد ملزم کو تھانے سے نکال کر لے گئے۔

پولیس کے مطابق مشتعل ہجوم نے ملزم کو بری طرح تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا اور جلادیا جس سے وہ موقع پر ہی دم توڑ گیا جب کہ مشتعل ہجوم کے حملے میں 8 پولیس اہلکار بھی زخمی ہوئے۔

وزیراعلیٰ کے پی علی امین گنڈاپور نے واقعے کا نوٹس لیتے ہوئے آئی جی پولیس سے ٹیلیفونک رابطہ کیا اور واقعے کی رپورٹ طلب کی۔

علی امین گنڈاپور نے ناخوشگوار واقعے پر اظہار افسوس کرتے ہوئے شہریوں سے پرامن رہنے کی بھی اپیل کی۔
