Shimshal Premier league (SPL)- 9 in the memory of late WAHID ULLAH BAIG Major Ismaili Volunteer Corps Shimshal is going to start from 5th of July i-e tomorrow in Shimshal.
Seven Teams from different Hemlets and Franchises are Participating in the Tournament.

Congratulations to Dr .Saif Ullah who just made a huge breakthrough. He is a native of our Humble village Shimshal,Hunza .and has successfully completed his medical degree (MBBS) from the Hunan University of medicine,China.
The hard work and dedication he put into this remarkable. During the course of his study, the university awarded him merit scholarship and also got shimshal Students Scholarship for his outstanding academic performance.

They might turn back of weather goes too bad. They were 200m away 1.5 hr back.
But not rescue.
These were climbers on way down after summit. Mainly Israfel. He hasnt left Asif’s side.
Rescue team is still on way to Camp 2
Israfel and Italian climber were there.
But Israfel mainly helped Asif
And is still doing so.

خوش بختی کو، بد بختی میں بدلنے والے، وادی سوات کے بد نصیب لوگ
اپنے پاؤں پر خود کلہاڑی مارنا" یہ کہاوت ضرور آپ نے سنی ہوگی۔ آج میں آپ کو بتاتا ہوں، یہ کہاوت کیسے ہم پر لاگو ہوتا ہے۔
وادی سوات کو مشرق کا سویٹزرلینڈ کہا جاتا ہے۔ ہم ہر جگہ لوگوں کو فخریہ طور پر بتاتے ہیں کہ ہماری وادی کی خوبصورتی کے چرچے دنیا بھر میں ہیں۔
پوری دنیا پر راج کرنے والی ملکہ برطانیہ نے یہاں کی خوبصورتی سے متاثر ہو کر اسے مشرق کا سویٹزرلینڈ کہا۔ ہم سر خرو ہوئے۔ یہ خوبصورتی دنیا بھر میں ہماری پہچان بن گئی۔ اسے اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھنے کے لیے مقامی لوگ آنے لگے، غیر مقامی لوگ آنے لگے۔ غیر ملکی سیاحوں نے اسے ایک گم گشتہ جنت کا اک ٹکڑا کہا۔ اسے عالم گیر شہرت نصیب ہوئی، مگر افسوس ہم یعنی اہل سوات نے اس خوبصورتی کو گندگی کے ڈھیر میں بدل دیا۔
میں ایک سیاح ہوئی۔ سیاحت میرے لیے عبادت کا درجہ رکھتی ہے۔ میرا اٹھنا بیٹھنا، میرا اوڑھنا بچھونا، میرا کھانا پینا سیاحت سے وابستہ ہے۔ مقدور بھر ہی سہی، میری کاوشیں اپنی وادی کی تشہیر کے لیے جاری رہتی ہیں۔ میں حسن کا متوالا ہوں، حسن کا دلدادہ ہوں۔ خود دیکھتا ہوں، دوسروں کو دکھاتا ہوں۔ خوش ہوتا ہوں اور خوش کرتا ہوں۔
آپ سب دیکھتے آئے ہیں، غیر ملکی سیاح ہماری وادی کی خوبصورتی کو دیکھنے کے لیے یہاں آتے رہتے ہیں۔ کل ہی کی بات ہے، سویٹزرلینڈ سے آئے ہوئے چند مہمانوں کے ساتھ عرصے بعد ٹریکنگ پرجاروگو آبشار دیکھنے کا پلان بنا۔مجھے نہایت خوشی ہوئی۔ میں دل ہی دل میں یہ سوچ کر خوش ہونے لگا کہ یہاں کی خوبصورتی کو دیکھ کر وہ اپنے دیش کے حسن کو بھول جائیں گے۔ مجھے کیا خبر تھی، واپسی پر شرم سے ڈوب مرنے کے لیے مجھے پانی بھی میسر نہیں ہوگا۔
میرے اپنوں نے مجھے کہیں کا نہیں چھوڑا۔
سانپ کا ڈسا مرتا ہے، اپنوں کا ڈسا نہ مرتا ہے نہ جیتا ہے۔
جاروگو ٹریک کے دوران یہاں کی قدرتی خوبصورتی کو دیکھ کر غیر ملکی مہمان حیرت زدہ رہ گئے۔ انہیں یقین نہیں آتا تھا کہ ان کے اپنے دیس، سویٹزرلینڈ سے خوبصورت کوئی اور جگہ بھی ہو سکتی ہے۔ وہ حیران ہوتے تھے اور میں دل ہی دل میں خوش ہوتا تھا۔ ہم جاروگو بانڈہ پہنچے۔ تب بڑی شدت سے مجھے احساس ہوا کہ ان کے مسکراتے ہوئے چہرے افسردگی میں بدل گئے۔ وہ گھور گھور کر نیچے دیکھنے لگے۔ مجھے ڈر تھا کہ ہوا کیا ہے۔ ابھی تو یہ یہاں کی خوبصورتی سے خوش اور مطمئن تھے۔
تب اچانک ان میں سے ایک
نے کہا،
"Why the garbage is spread here and there?"
اس کا ایک ایک لفظ ہتھوڑے کا وار بن کر میرے دماغ پر پڑا۔ غلاظت اور گندگی کے ڈھیر یہاں وہاں پڑے تھے۔ ہماری ذہنوں اور دماغوں کی طرح جاروگو بانڈہ بھی غلاظتوں میں ڈوبا ہوا تھا۔
بد قسمتی سے عید کو گزرے ابھی چند ہی دن ہوئے تھے۔ ہمارے ہاں ایک ایسی مخلوق رہتی ہے جو سٹِنگ پیتی ہے اور لَیز کھاتی ہے
۔ یہی مخلوق غلطی سے عید کے دنوں جب کسی تفریحی مقام پر جاتی ہے تو اس مقام کا ستیاناس کرتی ہے اور پھر جب ہم جیسے اورارہ گرد کسی غیر ملکی سیاح کو ان جگہوں پر لے جاتے ہیں تو بد قسمتی سے ہمارے پاس چلو بھر پانی بھی نہیں ہوتا کہ اس میں ڈوب کر مریں۔
مہمانوں نے قریباً روتے ہوئے کہا کہ یار خدا کا خوف کرو۔ تم کیسے مسلمان ہو۔ اپنے خدا اور نبی کے احکام کو توڑتے ہو، تو شرم نہیں آتی تمہیں۔۔۔
میں ان کو سن نہیں پاتا تھا۔
تمام کچرا انہوں نے اٹھایا اور جب ایک بھی ایسی چیز نہیں رہی جس پر گند کا گمان ہو، تو وہ واپس ہوگئے۔
واپسی پر انہوں نے مقامی ٹوورسٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ جانے کی التجا کی۔
میں انہیں مٹہ میں قائم ایک

لے گیا۔ وہاں جاتے ہی انہوں نے تابڑ تور سوالات کرکے آفیسر کو بوکھلا دیا۔
انہوں نے پوچھا “آپ سوات کو ایشیا کا سویٹزر لینڈ سمجھتے ہیں۔"
جناب کا جواب تھا “yes” مہمان کے یہ الفاظ تھے جواب میں “You should be ashamed of calling this switzerland bcz you people made it a garbage “
اور بھی بہتسی باتیں دلائل کے ساتھ سنائی اور ہمارے پورے سسٹم کو خاک میں ملا دیا۔
ہم پہلے سے بھی “Eco tourism” پر زور دے رہے ہیں۔ آئندہ بھی دیں گے لیکن ممکن تب ہوگا جب ہمارے تمام سیاحوں میں یہ شعور آجائے اور مسلمان غیر مسلموں کی طرح اپنے ماحول کو صاف اور خوبصورت رکھنے کے پابند اور”self responsible ہو جائے۔
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
عطاآباد کار حادثے میں قیمتی جانوں کے ضیاع پر اظہار افسوس۔
اللہ تعالٰی مرحومین کی روحوں کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلی مقام عطا فرمائے اور اہل خانہ کو صبر جمیل عطاء کرے آمین

جاپان میں جنگ کے دوران یہ لڑکا اپنے مردہ بھائی کو دفنانے کے لیے اپنی پیٹھ پر لے جا رہا تھا، ایک سپاہی نے اسے دیکھا اور اس سے کہا کہ اس مردہ بچے کو پھینک دو تاکہ وہ تھک نہ جائے، اس نے جواب دیا:
وہ بھاری نہیں ہے، یہ میرا بھائی ہے!
سپاہی سمجھ گیا اور رونے لگا۔
تب سے، یہ تصویر جاپان میں اتحاد کی علامت بن گئی ہے۔"
کاش یہ ہمارا نعرہ بھی بن جائے:
"یہ بھاری نہیں ہے، یہ میرا بھائی ہے، یہ میری بہن ہے۔"
اگر گر جائے تو میں اسے اٹھاوں گا.

Sabah Iqbal from Darkut, Yasin, received a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London. She had secured prestigious Chevening scholarship award in 2021. She is the daughter of Dr. Iqbal Hussain and Mrs. Bulbul Zareen.
Sabah expressed her emotions on graduation by saying, " I believe sky is the limit, you can do and achieve anything you want if you have a vision and set goals to achieve, with consistent habits and staying focused on your vision enable you to accomplish great things in life. I am feeling this is the beginning of new avenues, new opportunities to explore and contribute in the betterment of the world and to save our beautiful world from environmental deterioration, impacts of climate change and extinction of species".
Previously, Sabah had received Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from NUST and Master's degree in Development Studies from SZABIST.
In her professional career, Sabah had worked with leading agencies including AKF, AFD, ADB, AKAH and Mercados Aries an Environmental Consultant.
