A tribute poster for the Lion of Nepal, a man with one leg that
stood in front of a mosque while a violent mob advanced.
He had no numbers behind him, no armor, no authority.
Only a wooden stick and unshaken conviction.
Outnumbered and already injured, he refused to retreat.
He did not calculate the odds. He did not wait for rescue.
He stood firm and drove them back.
And it forces a painful contrast.
A lone civilian with a disability showed more resolve
in that moment than many who command armies,
issue statements, and speak of strength.
Power without courage folds.
Faith with courage stands.
