In Rawalpindi, the Attock District Education Authority suspended two female teachers for engaging in political discussions. The Deputy District Education Officer is tasked with investigating the matter and submitting a report.

The ban has faced strong opposition from the All Pakistan Clerks Association and teacher organizations, but the Rawalpindi district commissioner has emphasized its immediate implementation.
