Nawa-i-Waqt, established in 1940, is a leading opinion maker newspaper in Pakistan and enjoys wide readership and circulation across the length and breadth of the country. Launched on March 23, 1940, under the leadership of Hameed Nizami, it has been edited for the last 50 years by Editor-in Chief Majid Nizami. One of the most influential newspapers in the country, it has a special position in Pakistan's media, with well-established center-right and nationalist credentials.
