State Bank clarified about blue and green notes of Rs 75. The Central Bank issued the clarification in a message vide X.

The State Bank has clarified that the Rs 75 blue and green banknotes are legal tender.

Clarifying in the X message, the central bank further wrote that blue and green notes of Rs 75 can be used for all transactions across Pakistan.

The explanatory note added that all bank notes including commemorative notes issued by the State Bank of Pakistan can be used in all transactions in Pakistan.

It may be recalled that the green color bank note of Rs 75 was released on August 14, 2022 to commemorate the completion of 75 years of Pakistan's independence. While the blue color bank note of Rs 75 was released on 04 July 2023 on the completion of 75 years of the establishment of State Bank.
