پی آئی اے ’جیسے سفید ہاتھی کی نجکاری اتنی آسانی سے نہیں ہو سکتی۔ کیونکہ اس ریاست کو چلانے والے اہم گروہ اس کے اندر تک سرایت کر چکے ہیں۔ آپ خود ہی دیکھ لیں، عارف حبیب کو نجکاری کر کے ایئرلائن دیں گے؟ جیسے سٹیل مل دی تھی؟ پھر آپ کو پتہ ہے سٹیل مل کے ساتھ کیا ہوا؟ اور اس سب کو جانتے بوجھتے ہوئے کون دیوانہ ہوگا جو اس ایئرلائن کو خریدنا چاہے گا؟‘

Imran has never been so desperate as he is now and it is showing.
He never had anything to offer for the other side (read Asim Munir) to come to table so he upped the ante.
The Amrican touch, the British touch, marching his old comrades from the UK to USA. The gatherings, resolutions and go knows what else.
But nothing worked becuase everything boils down to the leverage. Nobody can leverage anything for a dumb man who can't be reasoned.
One of the biggest problem IK has is that he never thinks, and as a consequence he is always late to the party.
He is used to getting his way but this time they removed the table and the page boys so nobody is there to bring anythig to him. Becuase they know there is nothing to take back.
So in desperation he is using verything from his sister to anyone, anywhere who can buy him the lost opportunites and time.
And the onset of August with humdity and heat is adding to the desperation.
He is literally lying flat (depends on what side you want to imagine) when he calls on the other side to appoint someone for negotiations. When he accepts his role in the original sin, the mess that brought him to this place.
And above all there is a huge trust deficit that has appeared. Between Hafiz and IK and also between IK's supporters everywhere and IK. They all know that IK can not be trsuted. Until someone somewhere finds a way to tie down IK to something tangible, workable nothing is going to work.
And these vloggers, lawyers are not going to get IK out of this. Becuase it is not in their interest to break the status quo. It is their vested interest that IK remains where he is so their shop continues to mint money for them and they have their moment in the sun extended.

It a mess created by nobody else but IK. And even IK can not do much to get out of this.

I am looking for a passionate and intuitive video editor, specializing in short Form content. This role will be responsible for editing YouTube Shorts, TikToks, Instagram & Facebook Reels. But it could also include editing long form videos, interviews etc.

The ideal candidate must understand Urdu and English langauge understand the best practices of the hook, pacing, structure, music, and graphic needs to produce good Short Form content regularly.
I don't mind if you have experiance or not but you must be able to demostrate your skills. You must have some body of work to prove your previously produced work. If you have experiance then you must be able to show the trackable progress you made on previous accounts you’ve worked on.

Responsibilities:

You will edit at least 10 short videos per week, with the flexibility to take on full-time assignments if you choose.
You track the performance of your videos
Staying on top of trends on the various platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)

Requirements:

Deep understanding of short form content – hooks, storytelling, pacing, and strategy.
Edit videos using a mix of original footage, news footage, archival footage and animation or graphics.
Develop high-potential concepts for new videos.

یں نے اپنی پیشہ ورانہ زندگی میں متعدد طیاروں کے حادثات پر رپورٹس پڑھی ہیں اور پاکستان میں ہونے والے تین حادثوں کی خود رپورٹنگ کی ہے۔ مگر میں نے زندگی میں اتنی ہولناک رپورٹ اب تک نہیں پڑھی جو اس قدر بری ہو جیسی پی آئی اے کے کراچی میں طیارہ حادثے کی ہے۔
‏اگر ہوابازی میں پیشہ ورانہ غیر زمہ داری، جہالت اور خر دماغی کی کوئی مثال ہے تو وہ اس طیارے کا عملہ ہے۔
‏اس رپورٹ کو دنیا بھر کے پائلٹس کو پڑھایا جانا چاہیے کہ جو ان دونوں نے کیا وہ کبھی مت کرو۔
اگر لواحقین پائلٹس اور دوسرے ذمہ داران کے خلاف قتل کا مقدمہ درج کرواتے ہیں تو حیرت نہیں ہو گی۔
