They learned and taught the art of preserving their memories through carving the stones and preserving their lives on engraved rocks, and they have done it well. The mortals have always stretched their efforts to make their memories immortal, but the time has always marked its signatures on their remains for the ages to come and understand that the sovereignty is only for The Lord of The Worlds . . .

The mystic morning above the shoulders of Himalayas and Karakoram near Thalichi, Diamer, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The landscape explains the remains of the historical flood levels of Indus River and its current flow. As they say that the Nature always claims its origins back, so there may be a day when the history will repeat itself and we can only pray for this to not happen . . .

A high elevation aerial glance of Hopper Valley and Bualtar Glacier with Miar Chhish (right to left), Malubiting Peak and Laila Peak in the background while the Spantik Peak (Golden Peak) is covered in the clouds on left.
The Hopper Valley is utmost mesmeric with its scenic location in Nagar Valley, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. Hopper Valley is a cluster of villages around a natural bowl at a bend of Bualtar Glacier near the confluence of Barpu Glacier and Bualtar Glacier. The valley is home to many high mountains such as Golden peak or Spantik (7027 m), Bawalter peak (from where Hoper glacier starts), Rush Peak and Miar Chhish peak (7257 m). The Malubiting is the second highest peak in the Haramosh Group of Mountains, a subrange of the Karakoram range of Pakistan. Malubiting lies in the heart of the Haramosh Group of Mountains, which rise above the north bank of the Indus River. Miar Chhish is a mountain in Hispar Valley in the Nagar Valley and Bagrot Valley around the southeast of Diran peak (7,257 m) and northwest of Malubiting peak (7,428 m). Laila Peak is a mountain in Hushe Valley near Gondogoro Glacier in the Karakoram range, it has an elevation of 6,096 metres. Laila Peak has a distinctive spear-like shape and its northwest face has a slope of 45 degrees in more than 1500 vertical metres.

Rakaposhi, the name of this eye grasping mountains is based on two words in the regional Burushaski language where "Raka" means Snow and "Poshi" means Covered, this way, the the name Rakaposhi means the 'Snow Covered Mountain' which has never been seen without its veil of snow. Another local name in Burushaski language for this mesmerically beautiful mountain is "Domain" which means "Mother of The Mist", and those who are in love with the nature, call this 7,788 metres tall giant as the "Taj Mahal of Karakoram". This is the only mountain on Earth that drops directly, uninterrupted, for almost 6000m from the summit to the base and broad about 20km from East to West.
