Who is Mian Umer Hamid?
Hi, This is Umer.
I am a young, fearless entrepreneur with lots of experiences which navigate high level of success and the chaotic lows of failure.
A year ago (JAN, 2019) I decided to quit my job and move back to my home. It started with a first step, ending up a job in Islamabad! So on is the journey which I would like to type about. Well, not the physical journey, but the emotional one. Recently, I gave up on Facebook. I mean: I gave up on scrolling my timeline. It used to be full of people driving sports, shifting into new houses, getting married, having children and showing those things off to the world. If that is what makes them happy, I am happy for them! Yet these things makes me question my own life; what did I accomplish, where am I right now and which is the direction I want to go in.... A few months back while I was accompanying my solitude as I was thinking about, what have been my accomplishments so far, I came to the conclusion that ever since I made the decision to quit my first job and leave everything behind, I learned more about life, friendships, people and myself than I previously ever did. I kept growing in ways, which I would have never been able to grow in, if I stayed under the same station. I stare at my Facebook feeds and Instagram again, and I close it. I do not have a beautiful house, luxurious lifestyle and all other rich look alike stuff, and neither do I want it. Everyone is unique and so am I. I no longer care now and I just go for whatever makes me happy.
